Very nice hotel indeed. Room was very nice, comfy and cosy. Food was excellent. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. I would recommend to friends and family. Very nice area too. Had lovely weather.

We drove from Strasbourg to Valbonne and decided to stop at the Mercure hotel in Sté Victoire near Aix and were not disappointed . We were supposed to stay one night and we stayed two. We chose a suite with a balcony and it was very quite and we rested very well. It is perfect for wine shopping and We went to the CHATEAU VIGNELAURE OUR FAVORITE COTEAUX D AIX

OK for chain hotel. Not 4 star. Minibar in room out of order. Staff refused to repair it, gave lots of excuses. Overall, staff was polite but robotic. Place was full of pets and guests smoked at breakfast. So, if you like average chain hotels that condone smoking and if you enjoy other people's pets. Come to this place. They've got attitude, too. Poor value for money.

First impressions of the Hotel were okay and the breakfast was great. But having opted for the half board evening meal package at a cost of 25€ per person and consulting the menu online we expected 3 courses which normally costs 31€. However once installed in the restaurant we were told that the offer was only two courses, which was only 23€ on the menu and anything else would be extra. The set menu is also very sparce, only 4 choices one of which is an omelette and chips. In the room we discovered too late that the heating didn't work so had a chilly night and then the bathroom without a door, who thought that was a good idea? At least the receptionist in the morning recognised me as a guest but only offered us the 4€ difference in price. Although this was an improvement on the previous receptionist who challenged us 4 times in the evening as if we were new arrivals.

The hotel is ok for a Mercure but not really at level of four stars. No minibar in the room and the design is far too Accor standards, no lift, Good staff but this hotel seems to be run without manager. Many details needs to be fixed: Dirty pool, no towels etc...
