This hotel I consider to be the best of all the ibis styles I have stayed in, if you are planning to stay in Nice I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough, situated in the heart of nice only a few minutes away from the old town, beaches and most attractions are within walking distance, they also have a car park on site and in eight years I have stayed at this hotel I have never failed to secure a space, the rooms are quite large very clean and air conditioned, breakfast is plentiful and and always satisfying, the staff are always helpful and willing to go out of their way to assist, Joel who works on reception is very knowledgeable on the surrounding areas and full of ideas on what to do with your time in Nice, again if you are heading to Nice and stay at this hotel for sure you won’t be disappointed. Do not book this hotel, my mother had a bad fall the night before we were due to arrive and the hotel would allow us to reschedule our stay....not accomodating at all ! Basically did nothing but take our money !!! When the hotel was contacted they would not discuss even althoigh they will have been able to rent out the room we paid for to someone else.

The location of the hotel was very good- close to the port and lots of restaurants and within easy walking distance of the beach and old town. We were initially disappointed as the twin room we had requested was unavailable but we were offered extra bedding to sleep separately. The receptionist made a point of coming to find us the next day to let us know a twin room was going to be available but we chose to stay put as we were happy with the size of the room and the shower was very good. Staff stored our luggage when we arrived early and checked out. A basic breakfast was included and served until 11am, this set us up well for the day. The room was refreshed daily with clean towels provided. Staff were all lovely and helpful.

Location of this hotel is very good. Two blocks from the harbor, two blocks from Place Garibaldi, an active square with restaurants and local transporation. These are nicer size rooms and this time we got a view of the street below. Nice hard surface flooring that seems to be cleaner than carpet, clean rooms, good beds but stingy on towels, no wash clothes again and barely a hand towel. Self service laundry is one block away, very convenient if you are at the end of your travels. Nice size reception area and morning breakfast area. good variety at breakfast. Two elevators at different locations in the reception, so not all crowding into one. Would recommend.

Booked this hotel quite last minute for a 5 night stay as our Air BnB let us down. We got an excellent rate on the hotels own website.,My friend and I stayed in a twin room, very functional. Beds were extremely comfortable… room and bathroom was spotless. Very basic toiletries provided. Rooms were serviced every day and towels changed. Sheets were also changed once during a 5 night stay. Breakfast was super. Lots of great options for continental breakfast. Loved the coffee and fresh orange juice. Breakfast was available from 5.30 am to 11 am .Excellent WiFi . Hotel is surrounded by a huge variety of restaurants and bars. It is very close to the old port and the options for public transport were many. The staff were all fantastic, so friendly and helpful. On the day we checked out, we could leave our luggage. We returned to collect it and we were allowed to to charge our phones and use the bathroom to change before heading to the airport. Thank you to the deputy manager Jean Michel who was on duty. This was a lovely gesture. Highly recommend the hotel!
