We stayed a week here in room 123- the staff called it “the best room in the hotel.” We paid a premium price for it and it did not disappoint, with a large balcony overlooking the Prom on which we spent lots of happy time admiring the view in the sunshine. We found the hotel to be clean, the beds comfortable and the breakfast plentiful and tasty. (Shout out to the breakfast lady who looked after us well and was very friendly.) The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Nice, dining options and using public transport. On the minus side ; there is no lift but it is a small hotel and this is clearly stated when you book. It didn’t bother us. You are staying on a busy promenade which gives you the view, the talented violinist who serenaded us and the wonderful sound of the Mediterranean Sea. It’s worth noting this also includes traffic and groups of friends meeting on the Prom on a Friday night.

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a 6 week European holiday and it was a really nice place to be. Pity we didn’t have a couple more days there. Great location on the Waterfront. Literally hundreds of restaurants to choose from in the immediate area. Hotel does not have restaurant but did do buffet breakfasts which were adequate and reasonably priced. Room was clean and tidy. Very compact but that seems to be the normal in Europe. The Hop on hop off tourist bus leaves from a stop next door so that was easy to do.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Avoid.

This is not a 4 star establishment. I have stayed at many and this doesn’t come close. There is a mildew smell throughout the rooms. We looked at 2 rooms and ended up leaving after 1 night because it was so damp inside and the air conditioning barely worked and we couldn’t sleep. The front desk lady was very rude and tried to blame the heat on why the air conditioning did not work well. This is no excuse, I had just stayed at another hotel in the same heat and had no problem. The only good thing about this hotel is the location

Great location, but we had a room with a spiral staircase to a loft bed. Not all rooms are like this so if that’s an issue make a special request. Small lobby with very helpful staff and drinks/snacks available for purchase. The included breakfast was the best of our two weeks in France!
