I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. Service is excellent. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The location is very scenic, right next the beach. There are many eating and retail establishments within walking distance. Parking is convenient, but must be reserved in advance. I would stay here again.

We stayed at the Royal Emeraude on a Friday night and it was a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is well located for everything Dinard has to offer and there are lots of restaurants etc in the vicinity and it is yards from the beach. I booked a Deluxe room and wouldn't have wanted anything less as the other rooms looked considerably smaller and our room wasn't huge. However, it had lots of character on the 2nd floor and was very nicely decorated on the theme of the Orient Express. There were tea/coffee making facilities in the room, a very comfortable bed and it had a view of the beach which was pleasant. There are external shutters that are operated from a switch so the room had a blackout and cut out any noise. The safe was on the top shelf of the wardrobe so pretty useless really. The room didn't have a fridge. The bathroom was modern, with quality toiletries and we requested and were given a walk in shower. The bar was enjoyable for a pre-dinner drink and was quiet the night we were there. I would definitely pay the 20 Euros for secure parking which is across the road in the side street located in a private garage. There is access to the hotel by key code through a side door opposite the garage. Parking in the street when we visited would have been extremely difficult. The members of staff we came across were unfailingly helpful and polite and were a prime asset of the hotel. The Royal Emeraude appears to be the nicest hotel in Dinard and we would have no hesitate in returning.

I loved this hotel. It is in a fabulous central location close to the beach and the shops and restaurants. The room was spacious well designed with lovely Clarins products and we even had a sea view. The staff were friendly and helpful. Also loved the bar/breakfast room which was a comfortable place to relax with a glass of wine. Will definitely return.

Every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and intuitive including the General Manager, Marc Scognamiglio. Whether it was remembering our morning coffee preferences, assisting with local recommendations, or ensuring we had everything needed for a smooth stay, the team truly went above and beyond. The hotel itself is beautifully styled, with elegant nods to the golden age of travel, and every space feels curated and calm. Lots of Perfume!

The first thing that hit me when we entered the room as the unbelievable amount of perfume in the air. I opened the window, which provided some fresh air, but since we were on a busy street this was not a long term solution. We went down to the front desk and told them about our problem and their solution was to open the window. When I told them this was not a solution, their response was " We gave you a solution". Thankfully we were on a tour with others staying at another hotel and were able to swap. I have asthma and the odor in the room and lobby sent me into an asthma attack. Be warned if you have any allergies to perfume not to stay here.
