More like an ordinary Ibis than a Styles- cycle storage a challenge

This was a one night stopover on a cycle trip through France. Considering Angers is on the Loire where there are so many cyclists this hotel seemed to be completely unprepared for cyclists- storage was on a landing down about 6 steps which was hard work with the ebike. Charging ( as the battery does not come out) was only allowed for two hours- I had to argue for that- in the reception area; and I don't think that they were particularly happy with that. Room like a normal Ibis and breakfast included in the rate was fine. I think in retrospect we would have been better off staying in the small 3* hotel round the corner which said "accueil velos ".

Simple budget hotel hotel in great location to explore Angers! Staff on reception very helpful! Room clean but a little strange smell in room! Overall ok for one night! A little tip for a restaurant close to hotel! No more than 5 mins walk and not in town with all the others! Le Petit Brissac ! Great restaurant , great value , great food. Nd service

Pleasant stay in Angers

We stayed for one night during road trip through the Valley. It's a budget-oriented place but we expected that. What makes a budget hotel great is the staff and cleanliness and both were excellent. The room was basic but tidy. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed the breakfast. The location is walking distance from the old town, castle, very close to tram to attractions like Terra Botanica. There is limited parking available on site and luckily we managed to get a spot which was great. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Need a refurbish

Really I choose it after been on a Ibis Budget but looks similar but at list Budget was cheaper. Staff was right but the hotel need an urgent refurbish and an update to actual situation. Room was clean but not as expected on an Ibis Styles. Next time will use budget because expections are low and better than here

A great location to walk everyone and be near things you might need

this venue is located at a junction and it was so easy to walk to get things from food to the supermarket to an Art supply store (yes you read correct) or to the post office and the laundrymat. Of course barely 5mins to the city centre The station is a ten minutes walk from the lift as well as the tram on Rue Foch. the room we had was old school, so we were surprised. it had carpet, a chain and a peep hole but very spacious and comfortable for three pax with large luggages. The staff was extremely warm and friendly, everyone was ready to share tips how to get to diff attractions Breakfast was in a small area and the tables were always quickly cleans up and the dishes top-up. We love the lady who oversees breakfast, she was warm and chatty, esp with our son. My son loves the foosball table most.
