Terrible customer service.... but expected !

Had to cancel due to ferry crossing being changed. Did this hours before check in time. Hotel unsympathetic and charged me full rate on 2 rooms. Arrogant company...... avoid this company. Low cost, low quality better to sleep in your car.

Automated checking machines are a good idea but not if they do not work to accept your reservation or to try and book rooms for the same evening. Situated in a very hot and sunny lobby further added to a poor first impression and one had to wait until reception was open again at 5pm to resolve the issues only to be told the automated checkin booth often does not work! Breakfast the next morning was utter chaos with insufficient glasses and crockery; the saving grace was the food and drink was good when one could enjoy it! More like a camping experience using 3 espresso cups for a white coffee was interesting and good job one was not in a hurry.

A remarkable reception. I arrived clearly in some distress, 5 hours early for check-in after a 12 hour drive and a cross-channel ferry feeling unwell and very tired. The receptionist checked the readiness of my room and arranged for me to occupy. Brought me coffee. Left me to sleep. An incredible act of kindness and care. The ‘accessible’ room was well appointed with a lovely walk-in/wheelchair shower. Exceptionally clean. Comfortable bed. Plenty of space. Near to reception and the cafe. I could not have hoped for more. Thank

We are a motorcycle group from UK. We stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions during our trip. After arriving tired after a long days ride Cindy (receptionist) made us very welcome making the whole check-in process easy and trouble free. Even managing to navigate our poor French with ease. Rooms were as expected (clean & tidy) and breakfast was more than adequate for our needs. Excellent all round service. Well done.

I've been at this hotel staying the night of the 5th of August. It was a night to forget. Imagine the terrible surprise when we arrived around midnight and we discovered that we haven't the room booked and confirmed. We booked a family room for 2 adults and 2 kids but we have to get two double rooms not communicated. It was a great inconvenience because our kids are small and directly, we have paid for something different. Can't described how old and ugly the rooms were. We were completely defenseless, we couldn't do anything at that moment. The girl at the desk told us that she couldn't do anything. And that is. You book and pay one thing and they give you whatever it is better for them without any compensation. Never stay there if you have another chance. Any other hotel should be better!!!
