浴室の排水溝がずっと臭かった。予約時に朝食が含まれている認識でいたが、含まれていなかった。含まれていないと記載があるとわかりやすいかもしれません。

The Adagio is advertised as an aparthotel with self catering equipment.In the case of a “ studio” room,this is a recess with two ring glass top hob,microwave and dishwasher.There is no toaster,but the microwave had a tiny grill element ,which could toast a muffin in ELEVEN MINUTES. I did not take the hotel breakfast. The room was otherwise adequate,with reasonable clothes storage but an annoying lack of space for small items- instead of bedside tables there are sawn off bits of log.Beds were firm,and the duvet covers,once the ridiculous thick padding was removed ,were large enough to make top sheets. The aircon worked well, despite the “ environmental” propaganda notice suggesting it was partially disabled. I enjoyed my stay,apart from the horrors of the triple bend to enter the parking garage.Many other reviews mention this,but a new obstacle is an electric street bollard which requires a mobile phone call to the hotel(or a 100 yard run uphill) to release.This is a pity,as a Sixt car hire is conveniently sited nearby.

For an expensive town like Aix..the Adagio apart hotel is a good choice .. located 5 minutes outside the city centre... all the main sites are accessible on foot with good bars and restaurants closeby. Nice friendly staff, the studios are well equipped. Difficult to find better value in Aix so the Adagio is recommended.

Some positives, but absurdly tiny bedrooms and no daily room service

Positives: good position - quiet, but only a few minutes walk to the historic centre; it offers parking and has air-conditioning. The Adagio isn’t a real hotel - the rooms are suites and there isn’t a daily room service. Our suite was ok in most respects - there was a small sitting room, a terrace and even a kitchen area. The bathroom was fine. But the architects obviously decided to save room by making the bedrooms absurdly small. Ours was barely larger than the double bed, and it was virtually impossible to reach one side of the bed. Many visitors to Aix would probably prefer a decent sized bedroom with bathroom to this place’s suite offerings - and not to have to ask for fresh towels and a new loo roll at reception..
