Kia ora Heather, I was pleased to read from your review that you enjoyed the restaurant and the service provided by our friendly team, however it was disappointing to discover other aspects of your experience that were less enjoyable. I apologise sincerely for the 'plumbing' issue you raised and have just emailed our Maintenance department to have them check your room out. It is most unfortunate that this wasn't brought to our attention whilst you were here as we most certainly would have done everything in our power to remedy the situation. I'm so sorry that you were inconvenienced Heather and hope you will give us the opportunity to put this right next time - please reach out to me directly next time you make a reservation and I shall ensure that you are afforded our best attention. We very much appreciate the comments you made, and I can assure you these will be of great assistance as we continually look to improve all areas of our operation. I was sorry to learn of your dissatisfaction across various areas of our operations and I'm really sorry that we let you down. As part of our sustainability efforts, we don't print Hotel Compendiums and all the information found within is now sourced via a QR code which is on a card in your room. As for the situation in the restaurant, again, I can only apologise and assure you that it isn't typical of our normal standards. I have copied in the Food and Beverage Manager to your comments so that they can communicate with their teams, alerting them to the impact the situation had on your stay.
