We had our wedding reception venue at Burford bridge this weekend just gone 9th November 2024 and had the best day ever. The whole team at Burford bridge did an absolutely amazing job at making our day so magical and run so smoothly especially our wedding planner Kiki. Every single person said they loved the food. I would definitely recommend having your wedding at Burford bridge. Love the new Mr & Mrs Carpenter

We had our wedding held at burford bridge on 30th October 2024. We had the best day ever celebrating our day at this venue. Tithe barn is absolutely stunning, if you’re looking for a rustic look this is the place to go! Kiki kept us updated and was always helpful with organising our day. From the moment our day started is was magical, the feeling the atmosphere and aesthetic is unmatched. Every single detail was thought out and handled with care. The staff were helpful and friendly, the bar staff were funny and friendly also. The bridal suite was spacious, comfortable and warm. The bed was so comfy aswell! Need to invest in a better bed! I’m lost for words with how incredibly well the day went and cannot express how grateful we are to everyone at burford bridge for making our day extra special. Thank you so much everyone and a big massive thank you to Kiki! You done an amazing job and we will be forever grateful to you! Jennifer and Jordan

We stayed at this hotel, as we were attending a wedding. Room is cosy and clean, food was really nice. The wedding venue was great and a lot of space to sit around before the ceremony took place. Staff really friendly. Would have no issue staying again.

In the middle of a wonderful short break. The staff are wonderful, really friendly and yet super professional with nothing too much trouble. Asked for a quiet room and have slept for 3 nights without any noise! Haven’t slept this well in a long time - super comfy beds and lovely breakfasts! It’s in an idyllic setting at the foot of Boxhill and I have enjoyed lots of walks. The absolute highlight for me has been the afternoon cream tea!!! Genuinely the best cream I’ve had - homemade everything…scotch eggs (with a hint of tarragon and lemon), homemade sausage rolls and coronation filled volevonts, scones - two large ones with one being made with locally sourced honey, delicious cake selection and fresh strawberries…and tasty sandwiches which we didn’t quite manage! Make sure you don’t eat lunch beforehand!!!!

I really don't understand the negative reviews here. We stayed over in August and returned in September as we enjoyed it so much the first time. The staff are all very polite and helpful and the buildings clean and well cared for. The gardens are a delight, particularly the heated outdoor swimming pool. That was the icing on the cake! Parking was plentiful. Our room was large and well equipped (a superior I think) and had a covered patio that we'd like to have used more. As we had a dog, we ate in the bar at night. That was absolutely fine; we were told we could eat at a table outside the restaurant but we plumped for the bar as we only wanted sandwiches. We hope to return again some time! If you have a dog, there are lots of great walks on your doorstep. For evening walks, we just strolled along the main road as it had verges and was fairly quiet late at night.
