Good hotel spoiled by parking managed by Parking Eye

I visited friends who were staying at the hotel and had lunch there. We were also checking out the hotel as a possible wedding venue. The service was a little slow but the food was ok. The poor part was being charged £100 by Parking Eye to park. I sent my receipt as proof of eating there but they refused to waive it. U fortunately this has ruled it out as a wedding venue as I don’t want any of my guests to have the same experience.

Spa desperately Needs some TLC and maintenance

Spa facilities seem to be poorly maintained, several lockers were taped off. Over half the female showers were out of order with ceiling exposed. One of the hairdryers had a piece of paper stuck to it stating outnof order. The cleaners need to check the towel/robe disposal more regularly it was piled really high. Everything is visibly clean at a glance but when you're sitting in the hot tub you start to notice the embedded layers of grime and broken tiles. Really needs a deep clean and some maintenance. I've been before and previously had a great experience but been disappointed this time. In the hot tub there used to be thick curtain dividers to prevent a draft into the spa and keep the heat in but this was no longer there and the whole sauna area was breezy and cool. The saunas themselves were lovely and hot.

We couldn't of asked for a better wedding day,the flow of the day was fantastic,charlotte as right beside us all the way though our experience,we had out own decor amd charlotte made sure everything was perfect,the food was really nice considering different meals,charlotte and Rama even helped me with my wedding dress the morning of the wedding,we so grateful to you all,thank you for making outlr day so perfect

Nice hotel. But needs some tweaks

Nice looking hotel but I would say needs to be upgraded in some places. Room: The room looked lovely and very spacious. It was me and my sisters that stayed over as a girls night. The beds however were not very comfortable at all. The pull out or fold out beds were horrible to sleep on and the double bed was the same. The mattress need to be upgraded as we all woke up very sore. The bathroom was massive with a separate bath and shower however the water was not very hot at all. Flushing was also an issue even if you did the longer flush. They where 3 plug sockets on near on of the fold out beds and the other two by the desk one was being used by the fridge the other was free. But for a family room that’s not a lot of plug sockets. Restaurant: We ate in the restaurant and I would say the prices don’t live up to what you get. The pizza wasn’t great for the £15.50 price tag and we have to get one of the meals refunded. If you want to be served you might have to wait a while there were two members of staff and they weren’t very quick. And I believe one was also going room service as well. More staff or an extra toll would be handy. Standing in a queue with two people in front of you shouldn’t take 10 minutes. I would also recommend that they seat people as we was a three and had to sit at two tables that we pushed together while a few single people where sat at tables for 4. We didn’t use the spa as it wasn’t clear that we could use the spa facility if we booked a room we thought we woukd have to book this separately. The nicest member of staff we spoke to was at check in. The service on the way out we wasn’t even asked if we enjoyed our stay we just got a bye. We would stay again if the beds were a lot better and to try out the spa. But say to say the staff and the food wouldn’t bring us back. If we had the time we would have ventured out rather than eating there again.
