Por fin un hotel con parking. Viajando por el sur en coche es el primero que nos ofrece parking (de pago 6,5 libras). Bien situado en el centro y a 200m de la espectacular catedral. Es el segundo Mercure en el que me hospedo, y nuevamente en edificio antiguo, bonito y antiguo. Pasillos cruijientes. Habitación cómoda. Recepcionista española. Limpieza. Trato muy amable.

Nos hospedamos aquí para pasar 1 noche y ver Salisbury al día siguiente, antes de pasar 8 días recorriendo Gales. Está muy bien situado, a escasos minutos de la catedral y del centro. El hotel tiene parking (de pago), pero nos permitieron dejar el coche dentro al día siguiente mientras visitábamos la ciudad. Sale mucho más a cuenta pagar el párquing que los parquímetros de la calle, además de que éstos son de tipo "short stay" durante el día. Llegamos tarde y bastante cansados, la cocina ya había cerrado, pero aún así nos hicieron un par de sandwiches con ensalada y chips para cenar. Descansamos muy bien, no se oía ni un ruido en la habitación. Secador de pelo en la habitación con posibilidad de enchufarlo donde te fuera mejor (en otros hoteles de Gales estaba "enganchado" a una toma fija en la pared, casi siempre lejos del baño). En la habitación hay una bandejita con Nescafé, varios tés, cápsulas de leche, galletitas y un calentador de agua. Ideal para un desayuno rápido antes de salir a ver la ciudad. La única pega que le pondría a la habitación es que la iluminación nos pareció escasa por la noche, por lo demás todo genial. El wifi (gratuito en todo el hotel) llegaba perfectamente y las cortinas opacas tapaban el sol de la mañana decentemente (me cuesta mucho dormir con luz y es algo que noto y agradezco siempre). El personal del hotel fue muy amable, pero quiero destacar sobretodo la amabilidad con que nos recibió y trató Montse, desde que llegamos hasta que nos fuimos. Como sugerencia, es preferible hacer el check-in online a través de un mail que te envían. Así la llegada es mucho más rápida e incluso te mandan un sms el día de la llegada indicándote dónde está su aparcamiento y cuando tienes la habitación preparada. Sin duda repetiríamos la experiencia.

Un poco decepcionado por la habitacion por que el colchon era muy blando para mi problema de espalda los cajones de la mesilla no se cerraban completamente la tele se encendia alas 2 de la mañana ella sola y cuando pones la tarjeta de no molestar no hacen ni caso lo bueno de esto fue el trato y la hubicacion

la ubicacion es perfecta,la limpieza buena tambien el trato. habitacion moderna no muy grande pero suficiente con sillon y todo lo necesario. desayuno sin mucha variedad pero suficiente. sin ruidos nuestra habitacion daba a la parte de atras y no oimos nada. volveria.

Esta en el centro de Salisbury por lo que puedes ir andando a visitar la ciudad. Con parking privado (de pago). Bonito edificio antiguo, patio donde poder tomar algo o comer, muy bien decorado. Habitación cómoda pero en la que hacia mucho calor a pesar de tener un ventilador encendido.
