We stay for 4 nights in december 2025, and it was just perfect. Amaizing stuff, very good breakfast, very clean, and the location is the best in budapest. The room are very clean, there is everything you need. Just a little small room. For sure i will be back next time.

SECOND TIME IN THIS HOTEL

Hello everyone, We returned from the hotel a week ago and this was our second time we stayed there. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, because I wasn't thrilled with it the previous time, so I preferred to take only the Privilege room , which turned out to be the wrong decision. We chose the Privilege room again because we thought we would return to the same pleasant experience we had two and a half years ago. And Unfortunately, it didn't happen. In correspondence with the hotel before I arrived, I was told that the Privilege Boutique is in a new location and that they hope I will enjoy its change. When I arrived at the hotel, I was amazed by its new and small location, a small room with glass walls, without a large selection in terms of food, without seating, in short, it's not an upgrade! And the disturbing thing is that the hotel's official website has a picture of the previous Privilege Boutique! Something that I think should be fixed immediately so that guests should not be surprised. A good word on the subject is that I corresponded by email with the hotel's deputy general manager, and he accepted my complaints and gave us a discount on the privilege addition, I thank him for that. The hotel's location is the best thing about it, it is on a central street, close to the Christmas markets, and to major sites. We stayed at room 1007, The room was nice, small, with separate beds and it was cleaned every day. Unfortunately I didn't have a view even though I got a room on the higher floor facing Vaci Street (I don't know if there is a city view from other rooms in the hotel, and this is something that is important to me). I will add that when we got to the room at night, there was no liquid soap in the bathroom, and the TV didn't work. Room service came immediately to replace the soap for us, and the TV was taken care of the next day. Check-in at night was fast, and the receptionist was very nice, in general the staff working at the reception is very nice and kind! This is something that Mercure hotels that I have visited in other cities around the world have in common. Overall the hotel is quiet, in a great location with kind service. Not as good as last visit

After a visit two years ago it has changes so mic, room and hotel not bad but breakfast not the best, cold food not the best. We took privilege that was a joke sorry but good not good wine not replace and who comes back to hotel from 11 a 4 and wine not till 3pm. Sorry won’t be returning also reception attitude was really bad it was if hers is you room key so one. Sorry if won’t to call me you but not a happy customer will not be returning again .

Location was ok, but apart from that it was a terrible experience compared to the expectations. I've arrived at 10am and they told me I can only checkin at 3pm, and when I've asked the checkout time they've said it's 12. And if I would like to checkin earlier I should be paying 10 euros per hour. ??? The room was so airless that every morning I got up with a headache. There are almost none bathroom amenities. And I cannot say the rooms are cleaned, just tidied. And I am coming to worst part: Breakfast! There are no omlettes or any kind of fried or pan eggs, just scrambled eggs which I suspect was made of eggs! And there are almost none chese. No orange juice. I had to eat boiled eggs everday.
