Good hotel with a few minuses

Good hotel, nice place in general. Nice and clean rooms, nice location, nice employees and food good. Tried both breakfast, lunch and dinner. Will say food was good value. The negative: Really expensive bar. I paid 4588 huf for a basic Aperol Spritz. Thats so expensive that its actually funny. That will be more or less the same price as in Oslo, which is one of the most expensive cities in the world. Make no sense at all. Typically we paid 1800-2000 huf for the same drink other places in Budapest. Ok with slightly higher prices at a hotel, but not double or more. Will never drink there again. Adjustable temperature in my room. But did not work because sentrally adjusted. Typical problem on hotels, but not on a 4 stars hotel. There i expect it to work individually. In my room the window could be opened, so that saved the review. All in all a good place to stay. Not perfect but good.

Very nice

Stayed 4 nights. Rooms and bathrooms are smaller as you might expect traveling to Europe, but very comfortable. We had everything we needed plus a very nice hot breakfast each morning. We did not have a room with a great view but we did enjoy big open window views at breakfast. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Rooms very clean. Location excellent for walking to nearby shops or dinner. We found transportation via taxi very easy when we didn’t walk. Would recommend.

Good hotel for exploring

The hotel is excellently located with Metro outside, walking distance to many sights and short taxi wait times. The hotel is bright and clean, coffee shops and convenience store across the street is very handy. The hotel ticks all the boxes for what you need to enjoy an active stay in Budapest, however if you want a luxury hotel stay or plan on spending a lot of time in your room this isn’t for you. The rooms are on the small side, our view was non existent and the air conditioning didn’t work. Don’t bother with the hotel bar, we felt like an inconvenience trying to order a drink and the team had limited experience in making a cocktail, including not knowing the ingredients of the signature cocktail on the menu so it couldn’t be done.
