The staff were the most unfriendly and unhelpful I have ever experienced in our many visits to France! They favoured the Styles customers and when I complained at the lack of space,kettle and sink plug I was told" what do you expect this is Budget!!"

Hotel located in the Port about a 15-minute walk uphill to the center of Brest. It is a typical Ibis Hotel. Basic rooms, small, clean, without luxuries but with everything you need to spend a night. Matching prices (67 euros)Clean bathroom .The hotel has parking but there are plenty of parking spaces next to the Hotel. Basic breakfast. It's not worth having at the hotel. There are several cafes nearby where you can eat much cheaper and better

Good morning, Thank you for leaving us a review after your stay at our Ibis Budget. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Indeed, our hotel's location is very close to the center of the city, yet ideally located on the port where there are plenty of parking spaces free of charge. Regarding breakfast, for a two star hotel especially in France, our breakfast is anything but basic. Indeed it's an unlimited buffet where you can find fresh pancakes, fresh fruit salad, different breads, cake etc. All of this for 6.60/adult and 3.30/child. In almost every cafe nearby, a croissant with a hot drink and an orange juice will cost you around 5€. Thus, it's definitely worth having breakfast at the hotel. We hope you will visit us again soon. The hotel staff were very helpful in providing a room fan and directions to the few tourist sites in town. There is a restaurant strip within 50m of the hotel and safe street parking. Castle museum is 15 minute walk.

We went there on Thursday late July, Arriving there can be ectic : the area in closed to traffic for Jeudi du Port (free live music). Either arrive before 2pm (and make sure you are parked correctly) or be ready to walk (we parked next to the US naval monument).. (and argue with the security check when approaching the Harbour area - but they will let you through) The hotel is budget so it is very tiny, no A/C luckily the windows is sound proof if you go to bed before the end of the festival (and want to void the noise of the few left after drunks shouting in the street). Breakfast has no interest. Staff is friendly but a bit clueless on the Jeudi du port organization

I am surprise by the access difficulties that you meet to join to the hotel. Normaly There is no problem to come at the hotel and we have a special access during this event. we have not A/C in our hotel but we could lend a fan to cool the room if you need it. i will make a point with my staff. The room was comfortable with ensuite and a TV. Breakfast buffet good. Secure parking, though it is free on the streets around the hotel. Friendly staff and very central for the port and restaurants. 10 min walk to Eau Libre dive centre. No real negatives. Be aware that they are building a large extension to the hotel. No work in Aug 2018 (holidays), but will start again in Sept.

hello thanks for taking time to share you experience with other guest. for information we do not make an extension in our hotel. the built some office next to us. now the big work are finish so no noise :) i hope to see you again for your next stay in Brest
