We're greeted by Eka Setiawan with genuine smile and good dose of humor at the front desk. Admittedly he made us feel most at ease and best-welcomed when compared to two other resorts we rotated through from Ubud to south Bali. Days later we met Eka again during his break time. We were looking for our way around and got lost in the employee corridor. He immediately recognized us and politely asking us if we needed assistance. Evidently, we were in the non-guest area. Eka interrupted his break and patiently took us to where we wanted to go. While Pullman has many compassionatesd employees, Eka exemplied best customer service.

We enjoyed our stay in Pullman. It was the 3rd resort during our 2-week visit of Bali. Compared to the other two in different parts of the island, we were treated real well as we were pampered by the exceptional service provided by Mr Seni Arta, the Asst Manager. He successfully turned a situation to become a complete satisfaction. We're glad to know Seni and it's good to know Pullman has compassionate staff who look after the needs of their customers. Bravo!

Love returning to our Pullman Family and the beautiful, clean ambience of this hotel. Stand out customer service from Lestari and Rachmad as well as Seni and Bella in the restaurant. Darmawan looked after us at the pool and made sure we kept hydrated and provided snacks. We will be returning for our 12th year and hope to be well looked after.

Mixed Experience – Mould Concerns Overshadowed a Pleasant Stay

We stayed here for 11 nights in the exclusive suite. Initially, we were pleased with the room, as its spacious layout and separate living area were ideal for our family. However, on day three, we noticed mould on the bedroom ceiling. We promptly informed the front desk in the morning, and they quickly arranged for it to be cleaned, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, by day six or seven, the mould had returned. We again raised this concern with the front desk, emphasizing that our baby was sleeping in that room. They apologized and arranged for another cleaning, though they didn’t seem overly concerned about the issue. By day 10, the mould had reappeared, and at this point, our patience was wearing thin given the premium price we were paying. We reported it again in the morning, but by the time we returned from breakfast, the issue still hadn’t been addressed. We decided to give them a bit more time, but after our baby’s nap, we went out and requested once more that the mould be cleaned before we returned. This time, the front desk offered to move us to a different room, but as it was already around 2 p.m. on our second-to-last day, we felt the hassle of packing and moving wasn’t worthwhile. It would have been far more helpful if this option had been provided earlier, especially with a baby in tow. When we got back to our room later, the mould still hadn’t been cleaned, though a dehumidifier had been placed in the room — a thoughtful gesture, but one that came a bit too late. When we called to ask why the mould hadn’t been cleaned, we were told they were “monitoring the situation.” We just wanted the mould removed. Eventually, a staff member came to empty the dehumidifier, and we asked him to address the mould directly. He kindly wiped it down with a rag on the end of a broom, but it was clear this wouldn’t be a lasting solution, which explains why the problem kept recurring. On our final night, we returned to an apology note and a small plate of chocolates, which was a nice touch, though it didn’t fully make up for the ongoing inconvenience. Overall, the mould issue put a damper on our stay at the Pullman. On a positive note, the breakfast buffet staff were outstanding — attentive and genuinely welcoming, particularly to our baby. Special thanks to Sasmita and Ayu for making our mornings so pleasant. The buffet itself offered a wide array of fresh, delicious options, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel’s location is excellent, and the facilities are generally good. Just a heads-up that the area has frequent fireworks, which you do get used to over time.
