At the time of booking IBIS on-sells extra benefit package however redeeming those benefits is extremely painful and the fine print is NOT detailed at the time of booking, check-in or order. Do not be surprised if you are also charged on your account for the inclusions in the extra benefits.

Poor restaurant service

Restaurant service needs to be improved a lot. The Staff there are not maintaining proper hygiene and serving food in the room without covering the platters. Tea/Coffee is being served in an uncovered mug that is being carried from restaurant to the room and by the time it reaches to the guests, the tea/coffee is cold. Restaurant staff seemed adamant to the guests and not willing to adapt the guests demand.

Comfortable stay with adequate facilities. Good breakfast spread, friendly and helpful staff; supportive front desk. Location very close to an upscale mall. Valet parking was available. Environment conscious in approach without compromising on facilities.

Horrible Food . It was filled will red chilly which usually people does not like. Kindly prepare food according to region an preference. It will be helpful for the heath of the people who is staying there.

Worst rooms and too expensive for the size & quality of room

The size and quality of room is not even worth a room in a low scale lodge. It is the worst room I have ever stayed. Please avoid this property at any cost. The bathroom don't have any toiletries except a hand wash soap bar.

This hotel is nearby one of the biggest shopping mall and lots of local shops and good restaurants. You are within 20 mins from the Pune airport and not hard. The breakfast is also good with good fruits and choice of international food..

From Check In to Check out it was good.The only 2 things which need improvements are firstly the hotel looked understaffed be it the restaurants or the front desk. Secondly because of this the guest experience in my case got affected as the food on buffet was cold since the staff present were very busy with a group and other walk-in guests who were dining. Also when it was known that it will be a little busy why was someone senior not there to check for the smooth flow of operations.Rest the food was tasty, the staff was good and well behaved.

......dream of middle class to enjoy the upscale hospitality may be fulfilled...... Movement space with sitting with family members is restricted due space deficit in the room...but that cannot be entertained......G..floor and restaurant is spacious....staffs are nice.....front office good.... hospitality is good.... presence is foot exerciser is new to this hotel ...I enjoyed.... unique....

Peaceful stay at IBIS Pune

I visited Pune to relax from routine life and here i was at relaxing atmosphere at the IBIS Vimanangar,Pune.We checked in at late evening.The room allotted to us was with all the basic necessity.The highlight of our stay was buffet breakfast.The spread of breakfast was lavish with food litems like Salads,sandwitches,south india dishes.The beverages consisted of 3-4 types of cold juices along with Badam milk,tea,coffee...I would like to highlight Mr.Pankaj from Spice it staff,who was confident and understood customer need even though he was just 6 months into the IBIS and not able to able to speak.Keep it up IBIS!

Pathetic service by IBIS Pune

Multiple things went wrong:Date of stay: 27-Aug-2018 to 28-Aug-2018 (1 day)Delay in check-in: I arrived at the front desk at 7:30PM to check-in, where I was serviced by a lady. I was told that it will take 5 minutes for my room to get ready. I waited patiently for 10 minutes and then went to the front desk to enquire about the room. I told the same lady "I have been waiting for 10 minutes". and her reply was "For what". I had to remind her that I was told to wait for my room to get ready and then she finally remembered. Anyhow, the room was still not ready. I was told to wait again for 10 minutes. and finally i got the room after a good wait of 20-25 minutes. Delay in room service: I requested for an iron, and it took the room service an hour to get it. Bad odoured water: I went for a bath and turned on the shower. The water had a pungent order to it. It was really nauseating. Back to iron: I came back from the pathetic bating experience and the iron arrived. I turned it on and started ironing. My shirt got burnt as the iron had something sticky on its base. This was really terrible. Fortunately I was carrying a spare shirt. But, I lost a shirt to this terrible experience. (I have pictures of that iron)Breakfast buffet: Finally I went for the breakfast buffet at 9:20 am. The tables were dirty and nobody was attending / cleaning the tables once the customers finished their food. As such, I had to sit on an uncleared table. All the vegetarian dishes had exhausted - there was sambhar but no idli, no vermicelli, no main vegetarian dishes. The manager told me that he will take 2 minutes to refresh them but nothing came for the next 10 minutes. I just had some cut fruit, bread butter and a cutlet.Really pathetic experience for INR 6,400 for one night. I could have gotten better service at any cheaper hotel.

Service by the telephone operator was really poor. Not only was she arrogant but at one point she connected me to another guest who was also waiting on the other line. Staff name was Smitha. Also I had lot of difficulty while trying to extend my stay .

Standard Ibis hotel with standard room. Airport transfer pick up was arranged smoothly but pick up was delayed and had to walk a lot to get to the car. Check in experience was stupid with the person asking for all details again despite having done an online check in. When I told her the third time she looked and accepted that it was done. Overall not an experience to make you feel welcome or great. Breakfast was mundane with food tasting sad. Ate the dosa, poha, masala vada and hash browns over the two days that I was there. Mattress was not great.

Great service with poor aircon

We arrived to the hotel around 10.15 pm and the reception staff said we could eat at the restaurant. However, the restaurant was closed for service. The staff were very accomodating and alllowed us to order from room service menu. As we went to bed, the aircon did not cool the room. Finally, at 2 am I called for someone to check the working condition of the aircon. Two maitainence guys came within ten minutes and resolved the issue in just one room. The breakfast spread was great and you could order eggs, waffles, dosai of your choice. I think it was amazing. Again, the aircon in the restaurant and looby seems to be non functional. It was very warm sitting in there. The rooms were clean. Overall, a great stay but something needs to be done about the airconditioning.

Overall good stay but I can't call totally comfortable. Either hotel should not show to allow 1 child per room...Or... Provide extra mattress/bed on floor, current bed size is uncomfortable for 2a + 1c. Also add entertainment options like Netflix, Amazon prime, YouTube and google movies..At least let people cast their phone screens to room TVs. Also laundry service should be available full day, not just up to 10am....Currently ibis Pune is more geared towards and excellent in corporate stays..Above would be, I feel, needed for making it gear towards families

Our rooms and beds are so designed to cater for comfortable stay for a couple and a child below the age of twelve, we do not have provision for extra bed, however we have interconnecting rooms that serves the purpose for family with grown up kids. Similarly our TV channels are compiled based on market surveys and feedback from our valued guest with distinct choices. We do collect laundry till 1000 hours and deliver the same in the evening, we however can process it later but that attracts additional surcharges owing to outsourced facility. We try our best to ensure that our guests' stay is always comfortable and look forward to more opportunities of welcoming you to experience our true ibis hospitality.
