We are very well welcome, we arrived tired and the staff let us rest by giving us the room as soon as possible. The staff gave us nice ideas about sightseeing around the place such as the sunset in São Francisco river by boat

Good business hotel

I stayed at the Ibis Petrolina on a business trip and found it had all I needed from a business hotel and a practical check in / check out system through the web page. However, I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a basic, clean and practical hotel for business. I was a little bit of a hassle to get to the door (had to go around a big mall), but that is just a minor nuisance.

Confortable and good location

It is a confortable hotel. It is far from the S. Francisco river banks (the most beautiful place in Petrolina) but is near the shopping center. The staff are friendly and efficient. Negative point: the internet is unstable and sometimes slow.

I was impressed with the treatment of the staff, all of them always helpful, I did not miss anything, very clean, I did not notice anything abnormal, I usually find fungi, dust in some of the hotels I host in Europe and America, Central and South. It was a good experience.

Very good budget accommodation - terrible food

I was very happy with my stay at this hotel - the staff at reception are efficient, friendly and speak excellent English. The room was fine, nothing special and no decoration or unnecessary equipment but a rather large desk, chair, bench etc. are all available and facilitate working. The wifi is not fast but stable. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well laid out, hot water was available in morning and evening. The only real annoyance in the room was the aircon - very noisy and can only be switched on or off, the fan speed can not be down regulated. Also, it drops and with time water accumulates under it (in front of the bathroom). The second disappointment is the food - dinner (very limited selection) was only just edible (because I was hungry). Breakfast is rich but again, the quality of the food is not great.
