Trying to escape from Gallery One by Hilton experience at US. I have move to the South of America, perhaps not the best qualification for some people, but try to take a look at this place, really superior to past days at "well consider" places, full of dirt and without a human treatment. Here you have the best and the best people, from manager to housekeeping. Sorry at the front are argentine flag and french flag !!

Very disappointed with a hotel that charges 500 USD the night. The beds are awfully soft and left me and my wife with back pain. The big pool is ice cold, even though the city had been in 30+ Celsius for several weeks (I heard from a friend it’s always like this). The facilities in general are worn out and need maintenance ASAP (the pool that has mosaic tiles had an impressive amount of tiles missing). Also, there should be small tables by the lounges in the pool to put stuff or even food or drinks and there is none. The room which is huge had a small tv proportionally to the wall. The stuff is friendly, but there is a lack of training and corporate treatment. They all seem to be doing things differently without a corporate homogeneous, uniform way of acting with guests. The kayak experience is lame, as they only let you paddle for about 150m, because the rest of the lagoon is restricted. There’s a general sense of poor service, I.e. the bathroom near the pool had no soap. And they charge you in USD, and convert it to pesos at their own rate, which ends up being more expensive than anyone can plan. It should be the other way around. Again, very dissatisfied.

Das Hotel war eine etwas teure, aber ideale Destination, um ein Wochenende lang mit meiner Familie zu entspannen. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet,herzlich und professionell. Besonders unsere beiden Töchter (2 und 6 Jahre alt) wurden sehr gut behandelt. Außerdem gibt es viele Aktivitäten für Kinder. Die Pools sind ausgezeichnet und das gesamte moderne und dennoch praktische Design des Hotels hat uns sehr zugesagt. Einzige Kritik: das etwas dürftige Abend-Buffet im Hauptrestaurant, wo das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis wirklich nicht stimmt. Wird aber vom ausgezeichneten Service des Personals wieder ausgeglichen.

Das Hotel liegt inmitten eines Naturreservates und ist umgeben von einem See auf dem man paddeln u.ä. kann. Es hat einen Golf Course, Pool, Spa und noch so einiges mehr. Es liegt weitab von Buenos Aires und ist demnach nichts für Städtetouristen. Wenn man aber nur einen Abstecher Nach BA machen will und eigentlich Ruhe und Entspannung sucht ist das ganz klar eine Empfehlung. Die Zimmer sind riesig (Ich hatte Zimmer 701). Das Liegt im letzten Haus auf der untersten Ebene und hat demnach einen großzügige, umlaufende Terrasse (mit Blick auf das Refugium und den Pool) und nicht nur einen Balkon! Nachteil dieser Idylle: die Moskitos haben hier die Größe von Hubschraubern, Naja fast! Das Frühstück ist großzügig und seeehr lecker. Bar und Restaurant sind gut und haben auch sehr moderate Preise.

Das Hotel La Reserva Cardales liegt zwar ca. 50 (Auto-)km vom Zentrum von Buenos Aires und 25 (Auto-)km von Pilar entfernt, bietet aber eine Oase, um sich von einem harten Arbeitsalltag zu entspannen. Die Zimmer bieten ausreichend Platz, um sich auch mal mit mehreren Personen darin aufzuhalten. Es gibt eine wunderschöne Pool-Anlage für die Sommerzeit und im Barrio (bewachtes Viertel) kann man sich rund um den angelegten See und Golfplatz frei und sicher bewegen. Das Peronal ist zuvorkommend und steht einem jederzeit zur Verfügung. Im Hotel gibt es eine gute aber auch nicht ganz preiswerte Küche. Die Nutzung des Fitnessraums, Pools, Whirlpools und Sauna sind gratis. Insgesamt fühlt man sich hier wohl und hat seine Ruhe vor der Großstadt. Möchte man viel Abendleben und Gastronomie in der Nähe, ist man hier sicherlich falsch. Möchte man über mehrere Wochen einen entspannten Business-Trip erleben, gibt es wahrscheinlich nur wenige bessere Locations. Mir hat es hier gefallen!
