The hotel is ideally located for sightseeing and restaurants (the desk can give you recommendations and a map). The facility and rooms are what you'd expect for a Novotel, but the service is far above some higher quality hotels. For example, two desk persons helped us find a nearby laundromat to use during our stay. The breakfast was fine, not exceptional, but just right to start your day. The only issue I had was that the A/C was already turned off, but since it was cooler at night, this wasn't a problem. The hotel will email you information about the parking garage. As there's a special events center next door, there's no real place (unless you pull up on the sidewalk) to park to unload your car. Going from the garage by foot to the hotel is a little awkward as you have to go up some stairs, go through a gate onto a large patio, then walk over to the hotel. To get back into the garage, you have to use your parking ticket to get back through the gate. Because of the service and the location, if I ever return to Perpignan, I would stay here again.

Noisy and bad smells of glue

It was renoveited so it was very noisy and it had smelt of glue all over. No one told us that before booking, nor in the check in. When we complend, no one even though of conpecethion.

Dear Madam, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sincerely sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify a few points. No renovation work is taking place inside the Novotel Suites Perpignan Centre. The noise you mentioned was coming from an adjacent building, over which we unfortunately have no control. Our General Manager personally met with you several times, including in your room, to explain the situation and confirm that no work was being carried out within our hotel. In order to make your stay as pleasant as possible, our team offered you several gestures of attention, including complimentary express breakfast options, soft drinks throughout your stay, and the breakfast dish service you particularly enjoyed. In addition, although your reservation was made under a prepaid, non-refundable rate, we exceptionally agreed to refund your last night so that you could extend your trip to Andorra. This was a goodwill gesture that went beyond our usual policy. We were, however, very surprised by the condition in which the room was left upon your departure. Despite this, our priority remains the satisfaction and comfort of our guests. Given all the efforts made throughout your stay, we kindly hope you will consider amending or removing your comment so that it more accurately reflects the reality of your experience and the care our team devoted to your visit. Handy location with clever room design

Great location for central Perpignan. Family suite was very cleverly designed so felt like 2 rooms. Left before breakfast so can’t comment on that

A mixed bag

This is a mixed bag of a hotel that basically doesn't come up to the standards you expect from an Accor hotel of Novotel grade. When we booked on the accor website we chose a superior suite which guaranteed a high floor. What we got was a 1st floor room overlooking a small weeded wasteland with windows which were locked. The room was bright and spacious and most things worked. I was heading for a bath but realised there was no bath plug. I dressed and went down to reception and was given a plug under the pretext of ecology. Hotels of this type are overplaying the eco card....paper cups etc. Which is all about saving money and not the planet. The breakfast was just OK with various items running out and a lack of staff. Our check in team were friendly and helpful but the woman on check out was grumpy and uncommunicative. Parking at the Q park nearby gets a reduction in rate but is still expensive. This is a hotel that could be better if a bit of money is spent and effort put in.

Had a lovely stay. Our room was lovely with a large double bed, great bathroom with spacious shower and bath, the toilet was separate. Large sofa which I presume pulls out as a bed as extra bed linen was left in the room. All in all a great place to stay to enjoy Perpignan, although we were there for the rugby. Would definately recommend!
