Stayed a couple of times now, last Saturday we had the bottomless brunch (loads of options for both the food and drink) before we went out and couldn't recommend this place enough. The staff were great and the room was spot on again. I will Definitely do the same again.

Absolutely atrocious, this hotel is advertised and priced as a 4 star, which is really comical considering rooms are falling apart, and you don't even get basic toiletries, it's really unkempt! There are so many far better options, priced the same in the same area, that it's really hard to consider why would we return to it. We are Novotel loyalty members, this is unacceptable.

1. In my previous reviews of this hotel, I have consistently reported positive experiences; however, my recent stay from November 24th to 26th was disappointing. The staff were friendly, but the rooms are in need of modernization. The swimming pool and changing facilities were uncomfortably cold, which was particularly disappointing as I had chosen this hotel for my son to swim. Despite the hotel's claim that the water was maintained at a standard temperature of 28 degrees Celsius, both my son and I found it too frigid to enjoy, and other guests shared similar sentiments. 2. Additionally, we encountered an unpleasant situation with a reserved table during our stay. The individuals at the table were rude and confrontational with my four-year-old son, who was simply laughing and having fun around 8 PM. They appeared to be regular patrons, as they seemed familiar with the bar staff. Given the issues with the swimming facilities and the behaviour of some guests, I am inclined to consider this my final visit to the hotel.

No way is this a "Stylish 4 star hotel" barely even deserves 2 stars!

This is supposed to be a 4 Star Hotel? How??? Booked the hotel for a short stay (2 days). On arrival was given a key card for the room. First had to work the lift by swiping the card otherwise it wont go - the front panel of the lift is falling apart. Got to the room door and it does not work. Back down I go to the reception for them to try to reprogram the key and go up to the room again. Still doesnt work. Back down I go for them to assign another room because this one doesnt work. Finally I am in the room to discover that the Toilet and bathroom / shower are completely separate. Why? Makes absolutely no sense. The sink gets blocked every time you use it. Shower gets blocked every time you use it. You get no drinking water in the room, so I went downstairs to reception who say: "Ask for a jug of water a the bar". I walk over to the bar - they walk over to the kitchen and come back with a glass bottle that is branded but they refilled it from the tap. Surely they shouldn't do that. Anyway, it gets worse. In the morning I get to breakfast and its chaos. Very busy. They take my name and room number and sit me down in the corner by their "cleaning" area. I ask them to move me and they just shrug their shoulders and say: "We are very busy, this is the only place we have". So while I am eating breakfast right by the loud clanging and banging of plates and cups the staff are cleaning and preparing for tables. I go out for the day - then come back to learn that the key card is not working at all - not even on the lift. So again I go to reception to get it fixed - but they give me 2 keys. So I ask: "So does this mean the other one doesnt work anymore?" And they say: "Oh yeah thats right, the other key doesnt work now". Which means that my partner wouldnt be able to get in the room. What a ridiculous hotel... Swimming Pool is only for show and very very small. The sad thing is that it is in a great location. Other than it is barely a 2 star hotel which should be advertised and priced as that! They are clearly misleading when they say: "A stylish 4-star hotel" absolutely not true at all.

I have been hosted at Novotel Liverpool Center since November 15th to Nov 19th. My wife made an online purchase which would be delivered at the hotel during my stay. The courier says that the order was rejected when he attempted to deliver it. Unfortunately, we missed the purchase and I do not know if money would be returned. Also, there is no register on the hotel neither about this inconvenience nor the rejection of the order and who does that. I assume this is a lack of commitment with the client.
