Unbearably uncomfortable beds and pillows--stay elsewhere

I have stayed in this hotel before, but yesterday will definitely be the last time. This is the lowest of the Ibis range and it shows. The most uncomfortable bed I have ever tried to sleep in--pillows like rocks. Friendly and warm personnel.

Disaster stay, better stay in a hostel

Booking this hotel was an absolute disaster. We had an early morning flight and just needed a good night sleep. booking this hotel and particular room was such a bad choice. I understand budget hotels are no frills but I thought IBIS was some brand with dignity, I was so disappointed. We were a family of 3 with a 9 year old child. imagine our horror when the bathroom was open with glass doors and toilets with out latches. The room while small is understandable with a bunk bed above. But the absolute worst nightmare was the air-conditioning. It was so hot the room felt like an oven. We were on the groundfloor and next to the parking where a man was parked in his campervan putting his folding bed in the parking to sleep with a nice bottle of vodka. It was really worrying. It was my biggest mistake to assume that brands like accor with budget rooms will give you hell to stay.

Staying in this hotel is absolutely not very comfortable to sleep in. Bed is super uncomfortable, and has got a plastic mattress cover that makes the bedsheets slides off the bed. Not a single English Chanel on tv. Breakfast is too early and too early to finish (0600-0730) . My son got told off for putting the yogurt in a glass instead in a bowl, only because he spills a TINY drop and the woman behind the counter said “this is not ok, look at what you’ve done”. I thought to myself how dare she speaks to us so rudely…We are a paying customer and if my son would like to put the yougurt in a glass then that’s ok and as for you woman, you can wipe it down yourself and that’s your job!! Will never stay to any Ibis hotel ever!!!!

Cheap but terrible night sleep

It was cheap, but you obviously get what you pay for. Probably the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, which resulted in a terrible night sleep. Like sleeping on chipboard. Toilet cubicle was tiny and couldn’t really close the door. Hotel is about a 20 minute walk from airport arrivals. If I’d paid any more for it I would have asked for a refund. Won’t be staying at a budget Ibis ever again.

This hotel is a 15 minute easy walk, along a quiet road, to the airport. The receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly. She explained where we could go for a meal and where we would receive a discount. The room was spotlessly clean. Crisp white sheets and towels. All brilliantly white with no stains or holes. The breakfast was simple but had plenty of choice for a continental style breakfast. This hotel way surpassed our expectations and was excellent value for money.
