We had 5 days here. The room was big enough and nicely furnished. The decorations complemented the area with a ski feel. Having a kitchenette was convenient. The activities on offer were enjoyable. Having a meet-and-greet was a great idea. We filled in the days easily

We stayed for 2 nights for short getaway break, from Friday to Sunday in a studio. In the past, we always stayed in 2 bedroom apartment/chalet with the children. The studio is nice and spacious enough for 2 of us. Friday night was nice, peace and quiet. So we had a good sleep. But we were afraid this tranquility moment did not happen on the second night. The loud snoring sound from next room was constant, like an unending steam train was passing. Basically, we cannot sleep.....so really hoping the sound-proofing can be improved for the benefit and comfort of other guests.

Unfortunately this accommodation left a lot to be desired. I was so excited to stay here but from the minute I arrived the lack of staff and customer service ruined everything. I stayed in two seperate bookings (the Friday night for work then Sat/Sun night with my family). If you arrive after 5pm there is no one to help you, you are just given a code for a key safe to get your room key. The main resort accommodation does not have a lift so you have to carry your bag up or down the stairs depending on your room location. The room itself was clean. The next morning (a Saturday) we had to leave early at 7.45 - reception wasn’t open so you just handed your key to a staff member in the restaurant. We also had breakfast included in our accommodation package but it doesn’t start till 8 so we had to miss it. I then stayed the next two nights in a 2 bedroom chalet with my family. Unfortunately this was worse. They were very noisy as you could hear the people in the chalets next to you every time they opened or closed a door even when they had a shower. There was wifi provided but it barely worked. The upstairs room was incredibly dangerous for small children as the only way to access the room is via a narrow steep spiral staircase. Once you are at the top the bed is right against the staircase void so a child on the bed can easily look over and fall. We had made a dinner reservation two days prior for the Saturday night in the restaurant as with a small child we did not want to drive back into Mansfield for dinner but when we checked in that day we were told that the restaurant was closed for dinner due to a deb ball. I did not understand this as I had only made a reservation two days prior. We then had to do the 25 min drive each way into Mansfield for dinner as there is no other food options at the resort. We also had breakfast in this package too (again from 8am) and I must say it was one of the worst breakfast experiences I’ve had. There was only one person working, and he moved incredibly slowly. He was making coffees, taking orders, then delivering food then taking payment all by himself. We waited over 45 mins for our food. When it eventually came it was completely wrong. One of the dishes we ordered - avocado smash was inedible. Such a disappointment. We actually had breakfast included in our package for the next day but refused to use it as we could not even attempt to eat that food again. Whilst the rooms have had a refurb the rest of the resort has not - everything is very tired and dirty. The pool looked nice but we couldn’t use it as it said it was closed for winter yet it is now spring and we stayed on a 25 degree day. The biggest let down was lack of staffing - we never saw anyone! Overall I definitely wouldn’t recommend a stay here in its current state. I’m incredibly disappointed considering the amount of money we spent to stay here. We won’t be returning.

The Sebel Pinnacle Valley is such a great spot to rest up and recharge . Such a beautiful part of the country. You can be really active and enjoy so many activities or you can just unwind and soak up the views and walks . We chose to do the latter and enjoyed our stay immensely.

Overall we are very happy but the threshold from the bedroom carpeted to the tiled has a sharp edge and we scraped our feet a few times. We also noticed that the body wash in the shower was refilled with a substitute that was green and very harsh for our skin type which was disappointing since we really like the biology brand of washes.

Food was nice as we had included breakfast, one day was a la carte amd one day was a buffet. I prefer a la carte to avoid food wastage. Sauna and spa were very clean. Was lovely to enjoy the free BBQ and the fures were going at our request. Wildlife a plenty. Well maintained amd spacious , clean amd comfortable rooms. Free mini Golf and mulipurpose courts were great.
