Pros: The hotel is beautiful, at the beach, super nice staff. Very good breakfast. Decent food but not a lot of variety. Cons: Super loud music at the pool! There are a lot of conventions at the hotel , that said there were people talking and making loud noises in the walkway until 4am!!! Bedside that they were making repairs at the apartment in front of us at 11 pm! I really don’t know if I would be back.

This was my second time here in two months. While the entire staff is always as kind and helpful as can be, Wellington has now on both of my week long trips given me service beyond compare. As I let him know, much like last time, I'll be back in just a few weeks and I will come say hi to my new friend! I've come to realize that it's simply just the Brazilian way. ❤️ 🇧🇷 And it's 😍 beautiful!!

Hanging in the lobby every night, when Wellington can remember my drink exactly the way I like it, I had to do this review. On top of this, the hotel is very beautiful with awesome service. Did I say the view was beautiful and I was only steps away from the beach! The moonlight on the water is breathtaking!

Great location, really close to Sao Paulo. Nice beach and friendly staff, all eager to help. We do recommend rooms in the central building with ocean view. We’ve missed more gluten, lactose and sugar free options in the buffet. It would be nice to have yoga classes during rain time. Spa’s pool should be a quiet area for relaxing.

What a disappointment!

The hotel is operating well below the level such a hotel should feature. Sofitel is expected to be a luxury brand of Accor hotels and many yhings were terribly disappointing. Some examples: - the furniture is in bad shape - more than one hour waiting for a simple room service order (a glass of cold milk and a pot of hot water) - no towels and no water in the fitness center (otherwise well equipped) - at check-in they do not say what half-board plan means at this hotel (breakfast and lunch, which is a bit surprising when check-in is at 4pm and check-out at 12 noon... ) - at dinner (which is not included in the half-board scheme), no "à la carte" options. The guests have no choice but a three-course menu at a fixed price. - we asked for a cocktail at dinner time, but even though the bar is just a flight of stairs down, our request was flatly denied - at breakfast (buffet style, included in the half-board plan), i asked an expresso coffee, and I was told it would be charged separately. - we had only one bathrobe in our suite. We asked for a second one, it took more than one hour and a half to be delivered... - the bathroom amenities were very minimal As a conclusion, the hotel did not meet our expectations. I've stayed in Sofitel hotels in various countries and this one is clearly the worst one I've ever seen.
