Disappointed staying

I booked with breakfast based on my previous experiences in Novotel and other All Accor hotels, but unfortunately the breakfast was disappointing. The breakfast is short compared to All Accor hotels, whether Novotel or higher level or lower like ibis, and the coffee is not good. These are some of the dishes that are found in hotels less than Novotel by All Accor and are not found in this hotel's breakfast (chicken or beef sausages, beans, hash browns, 3-4 types of cheese, vegetables such as tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber, corn, etc., olives, boiled eggs, pancakes, waffles). The cake is dry so this hotel. The room cleaning service does not refill the soap from the first night, the soap was finished. All the All Accor hotels they have upgraded have been better and more generous (free water every day, next level of room and view, welcome sweets, welcome drinks)

Old, run-down and unkempt hotel in a decentralized but very noisy location (numerous roads, traffic circles and railroad lines). The beach is 2km away. Rooms, like the entire hotel, are in great need of renovation. Cleaning could be greatly improved in all areas, but especially in the corridors and breakfast room. The breakfast is very sparse, of poor quality and ends at 10am. There are far too few loungers by the pool and no shade at all. Therefore, it can only be used to a very limited extent. The WiFi cuts out every few seconds and is therefore not available. Worst of all is the staff, who are neither friendly nor helpful in any way. The hotel also refuses, without justification or compensation, to recognize any All-Status benefits, which is supposed to reward loyal Accor customers. Neither the hotel, nor Accor itself care about complaints or try to bring about an improvement. Never book with Accor! Never!

Disappointing Stay at Novotel Salerno – Issues Unresolved

I recently stayed at Novotel Salerno for four nights, and unfortunately, it was a deeply disappointing experience, especially compared to other Accor properties where I've stayed. Unfortunately, Novotel Salerno fell short on several fronts. We stayed in a suite at the top floor. Cleanliness & Hygiene: The bathroom had visible mold in multiple areas. Bed linens were stained, and a mark on the wall remained unaddressed throughout our stay. We found used cups, toys, and trash from previous guests in a cabinet. The floor was so dirty that walking barefoot left our feet filthy, and there were hairs in the bathroom. Room Issues: Despite advance communication about our bedding needs (traveling with my sister and nephew), the arrangements were inadequate. My sister and her 10-year-old son slept on a poorly made sofa bed, waking up each morning with springs digging into their backs. This was particularly unacceptable for a child. The shower had sealing issues, causing constant water leakage and turning the bathroom into a mess. The room ("suite") was advertised as 45m², but it felt cramped with the sofa bed, leaving little space to move around. Other Concerns: The welcome package promised to Platinum members was never provided, and water was only given upon request, despite being included in the room information. The breakfast was disappointing for a four-star hotel in Italy, with limited variety and underwhelming options. We weren’t informed about swim caps or discounts at local beach clubs until it was too late. A power outage on our second day lasted for two hours, with little communication from the staff about what was happening. The air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool, especially on the first day, making the suite uncomfortable. As a frequent traveler and Platinum member, I expected much more from this stay, especially since it was the first real vacation abroad for my sister and nephew in two years. Their excitement quickly turned into disappointment. The only highlight for my nephew was the pool, which is the main reason we didn’t leave earlier. Sadly, our issues were not adequately addressed, and after checking out, we moved to the Mercure in Napoli, where we had a much better experience. Nice hotel and affordable to the price. We stayed in a suite with balcony, and this room unfortunately really need an overhaul, it wasn’t a weary nice room. The staff was very friendly and did their best, though some of them wasn’t very good at English.

The pool is great, the breakfast is monotonous, the bed is very loud and of poor quality. Overall it was good, I would stay here again. Beautiful view
