It is conveniently close to Citygate Outlet shopping mall, and there's a shuttle bus that takes guests to/from the airport. Our room was comfortable and clean, except for the TV that was slightly falling off the frame (which I was able to fix) and the washbasin that seemed old and stained. Breakfast closes at 10 a.m. (would be nice if it closed a little later) and was surprisingly poor, with very few selections and even canned food (fruit salad). Other than that, it was an okay experience. I would go again mainly for a short weekend break close to the shopping mall, but I won't be too excited about the hotel.

Overall very good for stop over Room clean and ok for size Nice to see wooden keys not plastic ones and water bottles not plastic A/c gave of slight smell when turned off Tv didn’t work .. fixed relatively quickly Breakfast buffet ok .. no bacon bit annoying also French stick bread not good at all .. very dry and hard … Right next to mall

We stayed at this hotel for two nights beginning November 24. The convenience of the free airport shuttle, which arrives every 20 minutes, was a significant advantage. As we arrived early, we had to wait until 11 AM for check-in. The location is excellent, located near bus terminals and directly connected to Citygate Outlet and Tung Chung MTR Station, making trips to TST, Central, and Causeway Bay very quick. There are also several restaurants nearby. Our room was spacious, allowing us to easily move around with two large suitcases and a cabin bag. It was also very clean, with daily housekeeping. The buffet food selection was satisfactory, though the offerings remained fairly consistent each day. Check-out was quick and convenient. We will definitely choose this hotel again for our next visit to Hong Kong.

The Novotel Citygate Hong Kong is a fantastic choice for a short stay, especially if you’re looking for a hotel near the airport. The location is unbeatable, just minutes from the airport with a free shuttle service, making it incredibly convenient for layovers or early flights.

We stayed in a room with a king sized bed for 1 night for HK999 without breakfast to climb Lantau Mountain the day before we flew home. Fantastic! Interesting layout as you can see. Very clean. We love it that the toilet & shower were separated & the shower room had a sunken floor! So water won't seep out! As we were checking in, we wanted to ask about airport transfer when we saw a sign that said free airport shuttle. Our jaws just dropped! The receptionist said it leaves every 20 minutes. The hotel is connected to City Gate Mall. There's really lots of high end stuff like Coach, Polo, Kate Spade etc but what interests us was the numerous sports outlet stores like Nike, Adidas, Puma, Under Armour etc. Uniqlo is there too. There's a huge supermarket at the bottom floor. I also visited the gym. There's lots of treadmill & free weights. Unfortunately the pool was closed for maintenance. We accidentally pressed 'buy' for a movie, so be careful! Luckily, the hotel didn't charge us. If you are travelling with youth, there's also porn on demand, so watch out if you wanna keep your kids off those stuff. Will totally recommend this hotel. Cable car or rope way a walking distance away. There's a street vendor selling chicken & quail eggs for HK20 & also roasted chestnut. The quail eggs are so delicious! We thought it is truly a value for money accomodation.
