Pre cruise night

Very good cheap option for pre cruise stay, of course, if you need only the place to sleep. The room was small, without special space for luggage, in room shower and sink, but clean and practical equipped. The walk from National express coach station was around 8 minutes, the Uber to the City cruise terminal was 4 GBP. 15 minutes walk for a dinner in a old part of the town. Breakfast - nothing to write about - but good for a price.

DO NOT BOOK WITH CHILDREN/ WITH PAULTONS PARK SHORT BREAKS

We booked this hotel as a short breaks package with Paultons Park/ Peppa Pig World. I am posting this to try to prevent other families having their break ruined by staying at this awful place. I would not call it a hotel. If you are booked to stay here with children; I would cancel and book to stay elsewhere. The hotel is being used to house people who misuse drugs and alcohol, who are sex workers and who are incredibly verbally aggressive and threatening. I was sworn and shouted at by one of these people when I politely said that the noise was disturbing my young child. I was told by the person at reception who referred to herself as a manager that I couldn’t speak to the general manager until Monday and my only option was to move rooms but this was very late at night with a young child and it’s not just the one floor that there are problems. People who are not saying at the hotel are hanging around in the reception area drinking in extreme excess and the place was cluttered with alcohol bottles and people screaming at each other. The booking was for two adults and a four year old yet the bunk bed clearly says no under 6’s. We were provided with a travel cot as the only alternative for a four year old. The rooms were very basic. The car parking which is not advertised on the booking is £10. The staff were scruffy wearing stained clothes, missing teeth and were trying to be friends with the guests above. There was absolutely no level of customer service for the kind of people you would hope they would want to stay at a ‘hotel’. This is a very bad example of a hostel. A very overpriced one with no security. The only good thing about this hotel is that it’s near the shops and restaurants. Please do not ruin your trip and stay here. The bad reviews are very accurate. We had a great time at Peppa world but would not book with them again for a short break as this booking through their website is absolutely shocking.

Awful hotel stay away, unless you want to pay all this money to stay in a hostel! There’s people smoking weed, doing all sorts, escorts going from one hotel room to another. We’ve been woken up but men shouting arguing, DONT RECOMMEND stay away

£15 breakfast absolute joke. Cereal & pastries only options. If we were told that at time of booking we wouldn’t have bothered. And the key card to get into our room took at least 20 attempts before it actually worked. We won’t be coming back here

Stayed here with my daughter before a cruise, whilst I understand it is an Ibis Budget, I would still expect a certain level of cleanliness and general maintenance. Our room was on the ground floor, there was a dent in the bathroom door so the wood had broken through, my daughter spilled some water on the floor so I put a towel down, on picking the towel up it was absolutely filthy with dirt from the floor, the view from the window was scaffolding so very minimal light came in, the doors were being slammed most of the night. I had booked the nights stay and 8 days parking as a stay and cruise package, on checking in I was asked how many nights parking I needed and that it would be £10 per night, I explained that I had purchased the parking package, the lady on reception informed me that it doesn’t show on the system if someone has purchased that so thats why they ask. I understand it’s a small issue, but it shouldn’t be something I should have to worry about on checking in. My daughter and I had a very poor quality sleep that night and I wouldn’t stay here again.
