Ridiculously expensive for what’s provided, delayed checkout due to loosing my deposit receipt for the kettle and trying to tell me I had an extra night booked. Wouldn’t stay again unless drastic changes are made.

WORST STAY EVER - BECAUSE OF THE DISHONEST, RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, LACK OF GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE OF RECEPTIONIST (GUY WITH GLASSES) * We as a family of five have been staying at All Accor Hotels in years and as both my wife and I are working for the NHS, we regularly have discounts and satisfied using your hotels. But this time, we had the worst stay ever at IBIS Budget Hotel Southampton. We have booked two ACCESSIBLE rooms - Room 12 (1 double bed with bunk bed for our young child) and twin bed Room 105 for our teens. From the time of checking in on the evening of the 28th of August coming from our trip to Durdle Door, I have noticed immediately that the MAIN LIGHT in Room 12 was not working so I have reported right away to the receptionist (to the young man with eye glasses) AS THE ROOM WAS DARK AND WE HAVE KIDS TOO. He went to our room and has tried all the switches and has TOLD ME - THAT THE LIGHT IS ONLY BEING USED FOR EMERGENCY PURPOSES - It will ONLY light WHEN THE EMERGENCY CORD HAS BEEN PULLED and IT IS NOT FAULTY AT ALL. When I have checked the other room, I have found out that the main wall light was working fine. So I have came down to reception again to report it. THEN HE TOLD ME THAT HE WILL IMMEDIATELY REPORT TO MAINTENANCE AND PROMISED THAT IT WILL BE FIXED THE FOLLOWING MORNING. The 2nd day evening upon returning from our Bournemouth trip, light has still not been fixed, reported to the SAME RECEPTIONIST, and has promised it will be sorted out the issue on the following day. The THIRD AND last night of our stay - still THE SAME ISSUE. I have asked him why the light is still not working and he knows the room is very dark and we have kids? I GOT VERY ANGRY AND DISAPPOINTED THAT NIGHT THAT I HAVE CONFRONTED HIM that night and at the same very moment, A MUM with two young kids which I have learnt they came from a three-hour drive, have been told by THE SAME RECEPTIONIST - THAT THEY COULD NOT BE GIVEN A ROOM due to booking issues ( Booking .com) * That same 3rd night, whilst the mum of 2 kids and the receptionist were arguing, I was on the queue to re-cut our door key cards - knowing my issue I have patiently waited 15 minutes until I barge in apologising to the mum and the receptionist if my door key cards could be cut as my whole family HAVE BEEN WAITED TO GET INSIDE THE ROOM. And surprisingly the receptionist SCOLDED ME- " NEXT TIME YOU SHOULD WAIT FOR YOUR TURN ". it ruined my whole TRIP.. A worst experience with your group of hot

We stayed overnight prior to our Disney cruise. We arrived at midnight due to work commitments but I had already checked in. Good service, room as booked, sparse but clean. Bed was not very comfy, mattress was rock hard, but otherwise a cheap and serviceable stay. The location for dock gate 10 was perfect, couldn't get closer
No complaints about hotel, but parking is extortionate.

Basic hotel chain, no frills but spotlessly clean and well run. Major complaint is the car parking which is shared between 3 hotels on the site. £10 per night! Very expensive and only kills any savings you may make on hotel cost.

I stayed here before so I was comfortable with where everything was. It was as I expected nothing more nothing less. I would prefer to be in centre of town with lots of pubs and restaurants. Too noisy in centre versus quiet where I was
