Friendly service staff at the resort . Enjoy my massage at the spa by therapist Fern. As I have claustrophobia , massage therapist Fern makes me calm & really enjoyed my massage at Le Spa. The ambience is very pleasant. Highly recommended the spa

Spent 5 nights at the Sofitel Resort in Krabi. Did the 4 Island and PhiPhi tours - would definitely recommend. They are more expensive than other tours but they are hassle free and the team that take you out on the excursions are great. Ate at both the White Lotus (Indian/ Thai cuisine) and Venezia (Italian) restaurants - excellent quality food. Dabbled in a Muay Thai boxing session with Yib at the fitness centre. Ended up being 1 on 1 and was really awesome. Yib was patient with me and gave me a great training experience. Also had a cool down session with Efan in the gym after - whilst getting all the tips for the local activities outside the resort. Would thoroughly recommend for those looking to be out of the thick of it, in the calm, but still close enough to get to all the action quick enough.

Really nice hotel set in beautiful gardens a short taxi ride from Ao Nang and krabi town. It has a number of restaurants with friendly helpful staff but the team at the pool bar Sky, Na, Palmy and Sem were really attentive and gave great service.

Airport Transfer The airport transfer was arranged through the hotel and took about 45 munities. The Check-in and Room Our check-in was relatively quick, and the rooms were clean, very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom area was very clean, large and the shower was hot. Our room were always clean and well stocked with water. The free Wi-Fi in the room, the beach area and the hotel was very good. Food and Restaurant At breakfast time the buffet restaurant, May, offered an excellent choice of fruits and Western, Thai, Chinese and Indian choices. Tar looked after needs of our family. There was good choice of food at lunch time by the pool. We had dinner at Lotus (Thai) on several occasions and Sao looked after us well. Venezia the Italian restaurant was offer great choice and Peemai and Jaeb looked after us. Pools The hotel has a large swimming pool for adults and a safe children’s pool. The public areas around the pool were kept reasonably clean. The Beach The beach across the road was rocky in placed and the sea was clean (no plastic, weeds or jelly fish). The staff everywhere were very friendly. The service we received was impeccable. We have recommended this hotel to our friends and family members.

3 day Stay At Sofitel Krabi

We were on a short holiday to Thailand after our son's wedding. We had 4 days at Pullman Bangkok King power and 3 days at the Sofitel Krabi. We flew in from Bangkok in to the brand new Krabi Airport and was picked by by the hotel car was in itself a very luxurious vehicle (Business class on Wheels ) with plush massage seats. Our driver Mei, was excellent and very informed about the area : he had worked at the Sofitel for 17 years: Check in was efficient but we were surprised by how quiet the hotel was. Anais walked us to our upgraded suite 335 which was expansive and beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised by the Birthday wishes on the bed made of flowers and plant fronds. The Hotel is well maintained and open and the whole atmosphere is one of beach resort, with the largest pool in this part of the world. We had stayed at the Sofitel in Seam Reap and heard much about Krabi and were very keen to visit. We were not disappointed. The dinner at the White Lotus was underwhelming. We sat outside with a Thunderstorm light show, but the Thai food needs to reflect true Thai food , not a dumbed-down version that may be seen to cater for varied palates. We did not return to eat there. The pool and pool bar are both AMAZING . The pool was war clean and had space to swim or just relax. But more importantly, the staff who served were friendly , fun and helpful. I special THANK YOU to Sky, Golf ( both exceptional Barmen) Na, Bow and Pom. The cocktails they made were amazingly good The Club Millesme is a lovely space, but I noted that something that sounded like an AC was making the whole room and floor vibrate. The Staff who were there were helpful, were service driven and always fun and cheerful. Thanks to Deena , Anais, Pepsi, Pure & Ple. We did not meet Gabbie. They were also aware of my Birthday so had this wonderful cake that they walked out with and sang, making me blush!. To provide frank feedback would be appropriate: The Evening Canapes and Cocktails were very lackluster: Non of the cocktails were any that we wanted to have again: They felt like they were made with premixed cordials , too sweet , lacking in the depth and character, with very little alcohol. This was a far cry from what we had enjoyed at the Pullman King Power. The wines too were quite mediocre. I would suggest that you ask Sky or Golf to design 3 good cocktails rather than have a long list of poor quality drinks. The Evening Canapes often had left over sweets from afternoon tea. While we are eligible for free lounge access with our Accor plus Platinum membership, we actually paid for a lounge access room. We were able to speak with Thalia from Guest Experience ambassador at breakfast. Som who served us at the White Lotus and at Breakfast , Enzo and the very energetic Charles bot hat Breakfast and at the pool bar. Thank you to all for making our short stay a memorable one. We hope to return for a longer stay soon. PS the beach is quiet but clean . Heading out to the small island by long tail boat from Ao Nang is the best option so you can decide where you want to go . Around 200 Baht from the sofitel by Grab.
