Duty Manager lied & poor service from staffs

I am an ex Diamond Member and currently a Platinum Member. I had stayed in this hotel for many times and had been very satisfied and happy with the service by Ms. Ledi, the front office manager. This last visit on 31st July 2025 I learnt that Ledi was no longer part of the team and was instead serviced by Mr. Billy, the duty manager. What a disappointing experience it was. First of all, Mr. Billy as duty manager had missed fulfilling our benefit as Platinum Member. Our room’s AC was not cool enough and very noisy all through the night. We came down to front desk anf complained at 3 am to staff IN FRONT OF Mr.Billy and our problem was poorly done. We were not given alternative room and was unable to get a good rest. The building facility was poorly maintained. All of our requests which had been agreed by duty manager was casually neglected and he HAD THE NERVE TO LIE that our request was not available for Platinum Members. We then responded if it is the fact then we will email Accor Group to confirm. He then quickly changed his response and apologised that our requests were actually included in Platinum Member privilege. Very, VERY disappointed with this dishonest attitude and such a shame for Novotel Bandung to keep this standard of staff. I am now contemplating to move to another Accor Hotel if Novotel does not improve its standard of service.

Hotel was full with government event during our stay. We stayed only gor one night during transit. Crew was super polite but the facilities are getting older. Time to renew tbh.

The hotel is very good, Room is big. Breakfast is good, many options. They also have spa facilities. Café, restaurant and mini market is just walking distance. Quick check in process. Toilets near resto is good. But they need to assist somebody / guest from hotel who wants to cross the street to go to minimarket.

WORST CHAIN HOTEL EVER

WORST HOTEL EVER!!! I checked in at 15.45 with Jihad, and he said just wait 10 mins bcs the room was not ready yet. I was waiting for 5 mins and I couldn't wait anymore bcs it doesn't make sense. I came back to Jihad to complaint and he said "iya kak maaf kakak nya req high floor kan, high floor kami belum ready ka" HOW COME HOTEL CHAIN CAN'T PREPARE THE GUEST REQUEST BEFORE ARRIVAL??? After that Jihad gave me the room key and he said the room is ready at 11th floor. Anyway I'm hotelier. The second thing, I called reception to ask bathmat and tissue box, I was waiting for some time but nobody come to my room. I came to reception and ask directly to Jihad. He said he will send housekeeping. After that I came back to my room. Why do I need to come to reception to req anything? As the guest we can req anything by phone right? The third thing, I called reception at 20.17 to ask chopstik but the lady said they don't have it. HOW COME HOTEL CHAIN DOESN'T HAVE CHOPSTIK??? I don't believe her so I called IRD directly and he said they have it. After that he came to my room. The fourth thing, this morning I was breakfast at restaurant and I came to pasta area. I asked one lady which is SHE IS A CHEF. I asked her wether they have spagetthi or no. She said spagetthi is being refilled. But I don't believe her bcs there is no tag for spagetthi. I came to my table for eating. After I finished the food, I came back to that area, I ask to another lady she said they don't have spagetthi. I was like "that lady said you guys have spagetthi" I was looking at the first lady and she just quiet, looking down as if she didn't hear. WOW THE WORST HOTEL CHAIN I'VE EVER KNOW. How come the chef doesn't know the menu for breakfast??? Wallahi I never recommended this hotel to my relatives. And I'll never come back to this hotel anymore. As I know hotel chain always give the best service to guest. But this hotel very very worst. I'm hotelier so If I'm in their position, I'll make sure to give best service to the guest.
