Hotel is located in city centre. Room was clean and useful. Breakfast was very good for the money paid and was a good beginning for a day. Hotel staff was friendly and warm. Thanks them for the kindly hospitality that make us much pleased. I strongly recommend to people thinks to wisit Bilbao

This hotel is well situated in the centre of Bilbao as it’s walking distance from the old town and also from the Guggenheim museum. It also has a secure car park which meant we could leave our car there throughout our stay. The room was a standard type of Ibis room which was spotless. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very helpful. The only improvement I can suggest is to provide tea and coffee making facilities in the room which is the case in some Ibis hotels.

A decent hotel with good parking.

We found the hotel easily and although the underground car park is a wee bit tight to enter, the interior of the garage is roomy and the spaces are a good size. As far as the hotel is concerned - it’s an Ibis, which is all about practical style and comfort. Our room therefore is pretty characterless, but that’s no surprise and it will suit us perfectly for a two day stay. The hotel is centrally located and reasonably handy for the old town which is about a 15 minute walk, but it’s a first for me that the receptionist felt obliged to mark an area on the map,near the hotel, and simply said “don’t go there”. I Googled it and found that it is because the marked area is rife with drug dealing and prostitution. On both mornings we had breakfast at the hotel, which is an excellent buffet that had everything you could want, and we enjoyed fresh fruit salads, yogurt, a selection of cold meats and cheeses; and as a bonus as far as I am concerned, they also have decent scrambled eggs and bacon. All in all this was a good choice of hotel in Bilbao, particularly with the secure on-site parking, and we would happily stay again.

This was a bit more than I'd usually spend in a hotel at £125/night but Bilbao hotels are expensive. But it was good value, with rooms very well insulated from sounds inside or outside the hotel and an attractive Scandi-lite decor in the rooms. I asked for quiet and was put on the top (5th) floor with an attractive attic vibe. A very good space to work and sleep. Breakfast a bit limited, but perfectly adequate and good enough value if you want to start the day in a leisurely way. Excellent location in a mainly residential area, with plenty of bars a short walk away. I was able to walk to all the main sights (e.g. Guggenheim) in 20 minutes or less. Front desk occasionally overwhelmed - a Spanish check-in requires serious paperwork - but cheerful. No iron or kettle in rooms but launderette and coffee available very nearby.

Great hotel in reasonable location - great if you have a car and want secure parking - also booked in the early check in as we got ferry which landed at 8 - very accommodating and good staff - breakfast was good - recommend. If you walking from the wrong side to back to the hotel - feels like a ghetto - walk toward the Guggenheim Museam only
