Overcharged for dirty room

Charged twice for rooms. The acknowledged this and said they would refund. Seven days later this has not happened and after being cut off 13 times on phone I find them uncontactable. The accessible room had no towels and appeared not to have been cleaned properly

Would you like to experience a prison a and pay a premium for it? Stay here. I was marched out or my room wearing underwear and then berated for wearing underwear by a grinning henchman and his croney. I paid via Booking.com but they took another payment from me. The rooms are spartan, staff are awful, location is terrible. Never ever ever book this hotel. If you do, you will regret it.

We had a function in the quays and the other hotels were astronomically priced. It is what is. Its budget. The room was clean but basic. The shower was in the room which I hate in any hotel. The beds are a little hard but again it was £45 and we literally got ready went out and came back. It does what it says on the tin

Pros: • Quite clean. • Breakfast until 10am on weekdays. 12pm checkout. • Public transport near by as well as shops. Cons: • Hard, uncomfortable beds. • Gave me a room with twin beds when I was by myself. However, that came in handy as I took off the other mattress topper and put it on top of the bed I slept on to make it slightly more comfortable 🙄 • Bathroom is split into three. • Cramped toilet. Had to put toilet paper on the seat and sit to have just enough room. Must be even more difficult if someone is tall. • The air cooling/heating system is useless. • Not enough amenities in rooms. There's space for a kettle, phone, etc. You have to ask at reception which is ridiculous. • Storage space could be better. • Poor breakfast spread. • Kitchen staff seemed like they couldn't be bothered and a male member of staff at reception was rude and unhelpful. Don't waste your time or money. Go somewhere else, there are nicer places that aren't too expensive. This was my second time staying in Manchester and the 1st hotel was better than this one.

Go get more for your money elsewhere

I vow to never stay in an ibis hotel again This hotel skips on all the extras like kettle, hairdryer and the usual basics. You can purchase these extra for a fee. But I couldn’t justify paying for extras that are included elsewhere. Talking of fees you’ll also have to pay parking charges to stay here £8.00 8pm til 8am and if you opt to leave at regular check out time it’s £12.00 these charges were excessive. I wasn’t rating the room or the decor with the wood chip wallpaper the beige overload. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable and generally I found the whole stay unpleasant and uncomfortable.
