If you need to spend a night somewhere these places are perfect we were hoping across the country and need somewhere to sleep for a few hours. Perfect for our needs. Clean beds, clean showers and toilet exactly what was needed. Certainly not the Ritz but ok

I understand the previous negative reviews as the hotel’s location isn’t the best. However we had a good nights sleep and the room was clean, tidy and an excellent price for a quick one night stop over. On arrival there was a car with a group of men, all with the doors open and listening to music. I think this has been the issue for other reviewers as it did feel off putting and could feel intimidating to some. It was possible they were waiting to pick up somebody but as you had to walk past them it wasn’t the best welcome to the hotel. We went out for a meal and on our return it felt a totally different experience, loads of vehicles and guests of all ages. Just one incident can really affect perception and the management could probably deal with this by asking anyone waiting to collect staff just to park elsewhere rather than the disabled bay directly in front of the hotel! Apart from this not a lot to complain about😂😂

The room was clean but the noise was terrible ! All night people were screaming in the corridors and we could ear the door closing and noises in the other rooms… I couldn’t sleep more than an hour straight before 3:30 am… The breakfast was really basic also and the coffee was terrible! Sincerely it was my worst Ibis experience ever! Never coming back for sure…

Located in the middle of an Industrial estate surrounded by burnt out cars and old dirty mattresses dumped in the carpark down the side of the hotel. Hotel bathroom/shower was dirty, other hotel guests used my car as a table, placing their drinks on the bonnet as well as their handbags and phones. Another group of teens attacked my car by throwing shoes at it. We didn’t feel safe and had to leave around 11pm/1am. I would never recommend this hotel and would not use an Ibis budget again. The staff at night were constantly on their mobile phone and were not interested in listening to our complaints. Post our return home the hotel were not interested in listening to our complaints, the staff lied and said we hadn’t complained at the time so they were not willing to anything re a refund and put the phone down on me. Disgusting behaviour from a big hotel chain. 1 start is not a low enough rating. This is the only hotel I have ever given a 1 start in my 60+ reviews on trip advisor
