Clean and friendly hotel. Good location, short walk from train station and centre of Graz. Was given a room upgrade on arrival.

Excellent Hotel with Bargain Breakfast Buffet and Easy Access to Old Town

I chose the hotel for price, location, and ease of access from the train station. It earns its four stars, is located near a farmer's market with some permanent stalls and an assortment of excellent restaurants, and sits on a direct bus line from the train station (about three stops/10 minutes). It's a short ten-minute walk through the market and some shopping streets to the bridges into Old Town and the funicular on Schlossberg. It's a great location, and there is abundant parking under the hotel for those with cars. I heartliy recommend Zur Steirer Stub'n on the plaza opposite the hotel for excellent Austrian food. The establishment also offers 23 rooms.

This hotel is perfectly located and allows pets in rooms. The staff is very well trained and very helpful. Ask them and they will know the answer.

Hotel Mercure Graz City is well located, not far from the main Railway Station (Hauptbahnhof, 15 minutes walk) and the city center (Innere Stadt, less than 10 minutes walk). I was at Hotel Mercure Graz City for four nights, and I had a very good room on the fifth floor: the bed was comfortable, air conditioning was effective and not noisy, insulation from outside noise was perfect. The bathroom was also very good. Wi-fi worked very well. Staff were very helpful, and breakfast was very good, with several choices available.
