A really good and basic place. Such a good location into Malaga old town and totally functional facilities. Rooms were simple but recently renovated. Breakfast very good value and staff were welcoming / helpful. Really good value and I’d recommend if you need somewhere well located for a few days.

Nice hotel near the city center and the harbor. I travelled for business. The room was clean and nice and the WiFi quality was also good. The breakfast buffet was very tasty and the personnel was kind and helpful. For me it is “value for money”.

Stayed for two nights midweek in October. Excellent location just across the river from the old quarter. Some disturbance when a siren goes past the hotel but otherwise not too much traffic noise. Room is functional - no tea and coffee like in UK and limited storage space but comfortable bed, comfortable temperature, good shower and at least three English TV news channels. Better than expected continental breakfast - cereals, breads, fruit, cheese, cold meats, Spanish omelette, pastries, cooked bacon and scrambled egg. Didn't use the bar but did use the luggage storage on checkout day. I think there was parking in the basement.

Comfortable, spotless, wonderful staff, ideal location for everything in central Malaga. Stayed here over many years, and look forward to my next visit.

On April 28th 2024, I reserved a room at Ibis Malaga Centro Ciudad, for November 20th 2024, for (3) Nights. Thinking, that Ibis would not take my payment, but rather guarantee the reservation. They took the Full Payment $406.22 USD. A full 7 months advanced payment guarantee. If I had seen the small print, that it was not refundable, I would have never given my credit card, I acted in good faith, Ibis Malaga Centro Ciudad, has not. Now, due to a possible Medical Surgery on both of my feet, I requested a cancellation with a Full Refund. To my surprise, I received a Response that they would not be refunding my money. ( So if I am unable to go, on November 20th. A full (4) Months from today, I am out $406.22 ) BUYER BEWARE do not pay until you get closer to your arrival date, with the Anti-Tourist Demonstration, and animosity, ( Tourist Go Home ) all over Spain, May be a bad choice to spend your Vacation.
