The room and bedding is very good, a little dated but very clean and the location and setting of the hotel and resort makes up for it. The WiFi and TV are temperamental at best so an eSIM is a must if you are visiting this hotel. In addition, the staff did not seem to understand that the internet was not working and also moved a bed into the room opposite us at 0300 causing us to be woken up. We were not compensated for this. The room service is very good, however the food in the restaurant is significantly lacking, with wild birds and lots of flys able to access the buffet style food. Overall, good value for money but we would not pay for a room with food if visiting again.

Good service, staff very friendly and amazing view. Definitely will go back here. I love the atmosphere here, and Yasa the waiter is the good waiter, he helps me a lot during my stay. He recommend a lot of activities around the hotel. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Had an excellent stay at the Mercure Resort Sanur in early February. The location of the resort in a quiet area of Sanur beach is perfect. The resort gardens are beautiful. The room, although not new, was very clean and the amenities were good. The best thing about the resort is the staff who are wonderful. My thanks to Ms Rina for being super helpful and for making the check-in and check-out processes so smooth. Thanks also to Mr Komang Kori for going above and beyond to help with issues. Ms Ranum at the spa is excellent. Mr Tri and Ms Sri at the restaurant work hard to manage the high standard of service at the restaurant. And Mr Renan at the bar simply sparkles with his energy and positivity. Thoroughly recommend this resort.

We found the resort lovely. Clean, quiet. Air con & bed very comfortable. Internet access is good. They even have Netflix. Brian & Anna were excellent. They need a raise! Sitting on the beach with service is worth while. Cafe and drinks very tasty!

Unfortunately this hotel and management has gone downhill immensely since my last stay 5 years ago . Staff are not interested in helping & seem quite sad or angry and lacking enthusiasm . Booked in for a massage , waited 20 minutes and no one was there so I left, No apology provided. Requested twin beds Got a King ( was adequate yet not what I asked For ) Requested a room close to the restaurant and pool as I have mobility issues. Our room was the furthest from the restaurant & pool you could get ( room 107 ) The noise from the people walking or thudding above us was loud , impacting our sleep , so we used ear plugs . I am an Accor member and the hotel would not accept my debit card as deposit , so each time we ordered from the pool bar or restaurant I needed to pay . This was annoying as if my daughter walked away staff would run after her thinking we weren't going to pay, even though I was still sitting at the pool or restaurant ; Gluten free options are non existent. The GF Bread was rock hard. Our room felt like a prison , with no view, and was very very tired . Other guests stated the same and also were complaining about the staff and lack of service. Only 1 good experience was our lovely man who cleaned our room daily exceptionally well & 2 nights entertainment was enjoyable . The little cafe next to the Mercure was amazing "Genius cafe" served great GF and DF food and drinks at a reasonable price . Fisherman's Club at the Andaz resort was also amazing . The Management at the Mercure Sanur needs to improve everything . I wont be back unfortunately !
