Olumlu: Oda temizliği, konum, otopark. Olumsuz: Oda genel olarak soğuktu ve ısıtıcı standart olarak çalışmıyordu. Yalnızca max fan seviyesinden bir seviye aşağı indirince çalışıyordu. Odadaki minibar çalışmıyordu. Şikayetimi resepsiyona iletmeme rağmen çözülmedi.

Hotel didn't credit nights for stay towards my Platinum Accor membership

I had separate reservations for each day of my stay in case I needed to cancel one which I did at the end of my stay. Every day I went to reception to ask them to credit my points and my nights (important for my Platinum status as 60 nights per year is required) and every day they said they would do it but they didn't. At the end of my stay they assured me that everything was in order but it wasn't and instead of being credited for 4 nights I was only credited for 2 nights. I went back and forward with them with multiple e-mails and telephone calls. They kept telling me my points had been credited and I just couldn't get it through to them that my nights hadn't. In the end after one phone call I was told that one of their employees had made a mistake and they couldn't do anything about it. The hotel should resolve the situation but they didn't. I contacted Accor myself and after multiple e-mails back and forward with them too, I finally got my 4 nights credited. What a disaster! And they also didn't tell me before my stay for the Grenke Open chess tournament that the restaurant was closed due to a lack of personnel. Karlsruhe is a student town and I'm sure many students would be interested in a part-time job. If they could think outside the box they could have offered some training to some students especially as the hotel was fully booked for the tournament and outside guests from the tournament would definitely have eaten in the hotel too as in previous years.

The status nights were handled by Accor, as hotels do not have access to manually adjust or credit them. We would also like to mention that this was not due to an error by our hotel staff — all necessary steps were taken from our side to ensure correct processing. Regarding the restaurant: You are absolutely right – Karlsruhe has many smart and capable students. However, working in a hotel kitchen requires trained and experienced staff. It's not as simple as giving students an apron and asking them to help. Especially when the hotel is fully booked, we need professional chefs and service staff to ensure quality. The good news is: our restaurant is now fully open again, with an experienced team who are happy to serve our guests. We regret that some parts of your stay didn’t meet your expectations, but we’re grateful for your honest feedback – and even more so for your continued visits. Good hotel with parking issue

Stayed at the Novotel Karlsruhe City on 9th Aug for one night. Word of warning if you are on a motorcycle like we were you are not allowed to park in the hotel garage. We were on a 2 week tour staying at other Accor hotels in Hannover, Prague, Regensburg, Munich, Cologne to name a few and never had a problem parking the motorcycle in the hotel garages. I have no issue with paying full price for parking either. So why this Accor Novotel discriminates against Motorcycles I don’t Know! But nice hotel, good location, good sized clean room, everywhere well maintained, excellent choice for breakfast and all staff very friendly.

An Outstanding Stay at Novotel Karlsruhe

The Novotel Karlsruhe impressed us in every way. The location was ideal, making it convenient for our needs. Breakfast was outstanding, with a fantastic selection of food and drinks, and the omelet station was a delightful bonus. The hotel itself was exceptionally well maintained, spotless, and in excellent condition. Our rooms were spacious and provided a comfortable environment for our stay. Above all, the staff were superb—friendly, attentive, and truly made us feel welcome.

Novotel Karlsruhe City policies for use of Spa are not customer friendly

Would have given it 5 stars as rooms are good and breakfast buffet is excellent and even has free minibar, but the dogmatic policies and lies with regards to use of the spa is making that underserved as a place to relax. I was feeling too ill to go into the office as planned so wanted to use the sauna to get rid of my cold. It was 12.00 and it was luke warm. In the reception I was told the system turned on automatically at 16.00 and therefore nothing he could do. I asked for the manager and was made to wait for an hour while he was in meetings. I phone med and explained yes it was automatic and it would also require approval from corporate HQ to change that policy. The policy was defended with the cost of electricity a.o. I offered to pay the €1 cost of the electricity required to heat if for an hour (costs are €0.07/kwh today), but this was rejected. I told the manager I would write this review in order for HQ to take notice. At 16.20 I cam back to enjoy the Sauna which by then should have been automatically started by twenty minutes before. It was still not on. I phone reception who said they would send someone to start it, they arrived after 15 minutes and unlocked a door to turn it on manually so clearly the story about it being automatic and therefore difficult to turn on at specific times was a blatant lie! At 16.40 I was told a technician had been called as the staff apparently had not managed to manually turn it on. During the day I also tried to work from my room - I paid extra for premium wifi, but it was as unreliable as the free wifi so had to move to the reception to get...reception. I was given a voucher for a different network to try, but 2 hours later they had still not managed to make their other network available for my laptop. They may claim to be 4 star, but the policies of the hotel are 1 star!
