這間飯店雖然離柏林中央車站有兩站的Tram的距離，但交通很方便，旁邊就有一個U-bahn的車站，Tram也有三條線經過，旁邊就是「柏林自然歷史博物館(Museum für Naturkunde)」，就算用走路的方式去「博物館島(Museumsinsel)」、「柏林電視塔(Berliner Fernsehturm)」和「布蘭登堡門(Brandenburger Tor)」也只分別需要20、35和25分鐘即可到達。如果是坐公共交通工具，那就都在15分鐘內的範圍。 飯店房間內沒有冰箱和保險箱，可能是因為在柏林市中心，所以房間都比較小一點的關係，所以我出門前都必須要把行李箱給鎖好才出門，加上現在不是夏天，所以也沒有喝冰飲料的需求。只是，除了入住的第一天有送一瓶礦泉水之外，之後就沒有再送任何飲料。所幸，飯店附近有EDEKA超市，採購民生物資還滿方便的。淋浴間的蓮蓬頭水勢還算強，水溫也還算穩定。WIFI使用不用密碼，但感覺有些不穩定，偶爾會斷線，需要再重新連線，飯店內有酒吧和餐廳，但這次都沒有機會用到。會員的APP有送迎賓飲料，我也因為來這裡之後一直有咳嗽的症狀，所以也沒有去兌換來喝。在來之前，我有寫信給飯店，希望能幫我安排在高樓層、採光良好的房間，結果飯店就幫我安排在頂樓面中庭的房間，算是還不錯。這裡唯一比較不方便的地方就是附近的餐廳選擇比較少，

I am a regular visitor to Berlin and the Mercure hotel at Wittenbergplatz. I find the location very convenient for the airport. The hotel itself is very well maintained, the rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. There are a number of restaurants very nearby which I also find very useful. I am happy to return to this location on my trips and enjoy the sense of familiarity.

Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, convenient location. Breakfast, now free at weekends to Accor Platinum members, was very good.

Mid-range hotel within a fifteen minute walk of the main railway station of Berlin. I arrived yesterday for a four night stay and was allocated a privilege room (638) due to my Accor loyalty status. Friendly staff at reception and reasonably fast check-in upon arrival. A clean room and a comfortabele bed. The room is a bit on the small site, but this is a hotel in the city centre, where square meters are very expensive. The only downside is that there is no Wi-Fi signal reaching my room. Officialy there is and I even have free access to Premium Wi-Fi, but all my devices keep disconnecting and when connectied to the Wi-Fi, the signal is to slow to use at all. There is a good signal at reception and that is it. So, for my zoom meetings with my office, I either have to go downstairs or have to turn on my data bundle (4G). And since I have already read many reviews about this issue, boosting the strenght of the Wi-Fi in this hotel doesn't seem to be the priority of the management, although placing a couple of Wi-Fi boosters on every floor would easily fix the Wi-Fi issue. Safe and minibar with a couple of free drinks in the room. Good shower. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood. So, basically a good hotel for tourists and business people, as long as you are not dependable on working Wi-Fi and have no problem paying for 4G or 5G to stay connected.

A typical boring but clean business hotel in the city center of Berlin. It’s central Location is a big plus

There’s Nothing special to Mercure Hotel City Berlin. A clean and very boring business hotel nearby Berling Central Station. Circa 2 km towards Unter den Linden & Brandeburger Tor. So the location is great. preset expensive but that goes for all Berlin city center hotels.
