Decent location but a little tired.

Booked via Accor app for 330 Reais per night for 3 nights, with breakfast. Arrived around 3PM and room was ready. Service was a bit sullen. Room was on upper floor, decent sized, but noted musky aroma when i entered which dissapeared once the AC was turned on. One big window, one very hard queen bed, one little frridge, one midsized wall mounted TV with only CNN has non portuguese channel (not even Spanish channels), work area with stiff chair, and semi clean bathroom with very worned towels. Breakfast was OK but even with some variations, it was basically scrambeld eggs, loads of cakes (bolos), pao de queijo (delicious), breads, some cold cuts and cheese, and tubers (once yam, another time, very bland corm, cassava). Very good location close to Liberdade park. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance as well as museums.

Just off Praça Liberdade, and a 5 minute walk from the Airport Bus terminal, standard Ibis reliability. Nice porch out front to observe the scene, and a very good buffet restaurant - Xodó - across the street. Could use some updating, but friendly and comfortable. OBS! It's easy to miss - just a small sign on the older building attached to the front of the hotel

Very good to know that we have Ibis BH Liberdade to return.

Excellent hotel with a great location.Attentive staff, with parking and quiet to have truly unforgettable nights sleep. A very good break fast. A hotel to return to whenever the destination is Belo Horizonte.

It´s possible to visit on foot many tourist locations near the hotel, for instance, Liberdade Square and it´s Museum is about 250 metres far from the hotel. There are also banks, a gas station and good restaurants on the region: Dona Lurdinha (Typical food), Pizzaria Sur (which offers a buffet on lunch time). Breakfast at the hotel was very good.

Besides confort and the kindness of the staff, the location fo the hotel is splendid. We travel frequently to Belo Horizonte and this is our uneque and preferred choice, There are important museums very close good places for eating and the best movie theatres en terms of film quallity.
