From the first moment of Check-In with Alexander I felt right at 'home'. Very friendly, helpful and organized. I stayed for 5 nights and all staff I met have been kind! Steven came up to my room to get my adaptor sorted. The breakfast staff woman for most of my stay was lovely - friendly and helpful. The breakfast choices were excellent. My room is compact and clean. My room overlooks the harbour and that has been interesting. I would come back here in a heart beat <3 Staff have made this experience so good!!! And so close to the Train, Bus and Union Square shops - and the M&S = BRILLIANT

Clean hotel. Polite helpful staff. I had phoned the hotel to ask for a room overlooking the harbour.Hubby enjoys taking photos of ships and watching them . We did get a good room Beds comfortable.clean bed linen, my only gripe is I personally felt the pillows were too soft for me. I like firm pillows.( I didn’t ask if they had any .its my preference ) Although toilet and shower room small. Had everything you needed. Good shower pressure.(we were on the 5th floor overlooking the harbour) . Towels lovely and soft and good size. We had breakfast on 2 mornings. Food kept nice and warm in heated trays with covers ( food much better this time) Could do with a better toaster as much slower than the old toaster they had when we were here before. Very convenient for shops, restaurants, pubs, railway station and bus station, Found this hotel good value and would recommend .

Handy for all public transport options and the city centre too. Everything standard Ibis so you know what you are getting, that’s good in my view. Only negatives are the attempts at environmental sustainability which fail badly as in the ultra thin recycled loo paper just means you use much more to avoid and problems and then the restricted loo flush requires lots more uses which I suspect ends up using more water than one good flush. Nice ideas but nah.
