Lovely spa

We arrived in the evening so made our way to the PH top floor to enjoy the spa while we could still see the city and far mountain view. It was a wonderful spa before and after the Amazon Rainforest. A small swimming pool, a hot tub, steam bath, sauna seeing the city and the shower rooms with the massage jets. Just remember to bring your swim cap (if not pay USD 5). They did say so at the spa reception, to maintain the cleanliness. Restaurant was good for both dinner and breakfast. Service friendly. Room was very spacious with a generous sitting area. Overall a comfortable stay before and after the Rainforest!!!

The hotel's location is good. It is close to the markets, which are worth visiting. The room is clean, and the services are very efficient. During our stay, we had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. We noticed that the restaurant is certified to HACCP (food hygiene), and the kitchen team members demonstrated good hygiene practices. There is only one tiny thing: the waiter at dinner time may be a part-time student or intern. The services and response may not be skilled. However, we concluded that we happy during our stay.

The hotel was okay - the bathroom sink barely drained, beds are not comfortable, very noisy, grimy bathroom and we had some bugs in our room. I wouldn’t normally complain about this stuff because I stay in hotels A LOT and I’m not hard to please however, I went to use the spa for the third time in my stay and this put me over the edge. We were stopped at the door and told we can’t access the spa without wearing a shower/bathing cap. If we “didn’t bring one” we could buy one for $5USD in cash. No one, including myself, that I know staying here had been asked to wear one and we’d been here 3 nights. (A group of 12 of us) The woman at the counter wouldn’t let us in without my husband and I buying shower caps. The saving grace to this hotel was the nice spa so beware - this spa isn’t included. It’s included only if you “bring a shower cap” or buy a cap. It’s so called hotel policy but isn’t included anywhere (no one mentions it in our check in, when we went the 2 days prior nor is it indicated online) disappointing and kind of sus

Part of a group tour and spent several different nights at this hotel. Very nice with a free breakfast. Room was very nice!! Had a restaurant for dinner too! One night I had the T-bone steak and it was probably the worst steak I have ever had. Chewy, tough and full of grizzle! I complained to the management to no avail. Otherwise, a lovely hotel!

This hotel is clean and beautiful and the staff is exceptionally helpful. It is a bit out of the center, old town, which, for me, was a plus. It is less chaotic and noisy. Only $5 taxi to anywhere in the city. The rooms are very large, with great amenities. nice hot tub, steam room sauna, and huge gym. Had a good restaurant and coffee shop. Breakfast is included with a large selection. It also has power, which several hotels in Quito are on blackout. I highly recommend this hotel. They are above and beyond accommodating and always have an English speaking staff member.
