Very comfortable stay. We stayed for 4 nights. Just opposite to tram station. Convenient to reach from Bern station. Spacious and clean rooms. We reached early in morning. We were allowed an early check in.Good buffet spread but was repetitive.

This is a great hotel with superb rooms and tremendous service. My friend and I loved our ten day stay here and it was a great base from which to explore Bern. The food in the restaurant was excellent every time we had it and the prices for accommodation and food are good for Switzerland.

A Totally OK Hotel Experience

This hotel is the living embodiment of something being "okay". The rooms were large but not necessarily the cleanest I've ever seen. Check-in at the lobby was somewhat slow and the elevators were dreadfully slow - you're going to have a long wait to get up or down. The location with a tram stop outside is fantastic so it does make it quite easy to get around the city. With that said, when the proximity to public transportation is the best part of your hotel it's probably not the best option available.

As an All Accor member I always looking for the hotels within this group, so we selected this one. The check-in was so easy, so smooth with Miss. Lya... a very capable person to answer and asisset with all your concerns. Location of the hotel is great, where you can walk to the City Center.

Bad Novotel experience in Switzerland.

My Novotel experience this summer was beyond awful. We stayed at Novotel in Bern and the one in Geneva. The Novotel in Bern has a convenient location near the tram stop and with free public transport that served us well. However that’s where the positive ends. The room wasn’t set up for the three of us and then we had to ask for someone to come in and set up the third bed for our son. They set it up in a really awkward way which we then had to redo ourselves. Check in took over an hour of waiting. We watched three members of staff serving one couple and then a single other member of staff checking people in taking 15-20 minutes at a time. The front entrance was constantly blocked with parked cars. The hotel is serviced by two lifts (elevators) and for such a large hotel this really isn’t enough especially when staff use it for deliveries during peak busy times. My experience at Novotel Geneva wasn’t any better.
