Good enough for one night but non two

I am so tired of Ikea-style-furnished, cookie cutter hotels, which in the end offer only minimum comfort Not enough furniture: nowhere to put my suitcase other than the floor, no comfortable chair, too small bedside planks (not even tables), not enough hooks for clothes since there was no closet, not enough outlets for charging and badly placed, view of a wall kitty-corner, lousy toiletries: mixed hair, face, skin = too dry, good for none, difficult - to-use lock on the door, lousy breakfast, mediocre personnel

Very good location for bus travellers

The hotel is very conveniently located for those who go to Nancy by bus. Very helpful reception and the usual ibis Budget rooms for competitive prices. You might not be sleeping in the centre-ville, but Nancy is rather small and the hotel is ~10-15 minutes away on foot to Place Stanislas.

The reception is very small and the young girl was alone so she refused to to show us the rooms. After some pressure she did. Even though the rooms are kind of renovated the smell is so bad. The area felt un safe with lots of soldiers around. We canceled our stay and moved to Novotel which is fully renovated and highly recommended. Avi

possigly my biggest dissapoinment in hotells ever.

The bed was harder than sleeping on a wooden bench, room smelled really bad and the lights came on of itself when the room next door turned on tiers. The hotel staff where almost never at the reception area we waited 30 min in the morning before anyone showed up to get us our breakfast. For the price is was really bad. Also to me it's strange to have a hotel with out double rooms, it's the first time I've run into that in over 40 years.

Good hotel in good position.

What you'd expect from Ibis Budget. A centrally positioned hotel at reasonable cost. Good breakfast and clean rooms. We stored our bikes in the underground car park. The hotel has restaurants nearby and is a 12 - 15 minute walk from Stanislas square.
