Decent enough hotel

You can check in online before you arrive so all you have to do is pick up your key when you arrive. The hotel is well situated, about 5 minutes walk from Northampton station and on the way into town. The room was nice and clean with a large television, my only gripe was that the bed wasn’t very comfortable. The bathroom was ok, I didn’t have a shower so can’t say what it was like.

I've stayed in a lot of budget hotels but can really see where they're cutting corners. For example, it is the only place I've ever stayed which doesn't provide both bath towels and hand towels, and in place of teaspoons there were little wooden sticks. When we arrived the room was freezing and took several hours to heat up as there was just one small electric heater near the door. The decor wouldn't have been out of place in a nursery school, the curtains didn't close completely and the shower wasn't great. We didn't stay for breakfast as £12 seems pretty steep when there's a Wetherspoons 10 minutes away. On the plus side I guess the room was cheap and the location met our needs.

The staff, facilities and breakfast was fantastic. Well done and will hopefully visit you again. Modern style,.modern feel and comfortable nights sleep. Breakfast was lovely and hot and booking in and out process straight forward. Thank you.

Stayed at the Ibis as was going to a gig locally, room 205 clean as was the bathroom, decent sized TV and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were lovely and helpful. Good stay, I would stay again if I was up that way. Could slightly hear guests walking past the room but wasn’t that bad/loud.
