Noisy location far from airport

Hotel is in a noisy industrial area with hgvs all around. Fine if visiting one of those businesses but as it’s over half an hour to the airport in the morning which doesn’t make it an airport hotel - at least to me. General areas are tired and rooms were half clean eg stains on sofa and smelly. Staff were good but can’t polish a t*rd as they say. Do not stay there far better options nearer to airport including on site.

We also regret that the cleanliness and condition of your room were not up to our usual standards. A Glorified Ibis!

While this hotel is a convenient option for travelers passing through São Paulo’s Guarulhos Airport, given its proximity to the airport with free shuttle service, it falls short in several key areas. The hotel's modern exterior and spacious lobby provide a good first impression, but it doesn't take long to notice that some areas of the hotel are a bit tired. Rooms are basic, with minimal updates, and there are occasional issues with noise from the nearby highway, despite being relatively close to the airport. Overall, it’s a decent spot for a layover, but don't expect a Mercure as it feels like a Ibis budget - not even a normal Ibis!! LOCATION:Its prime location near Guarulhos Airport is both its biggest advantage and disadvantage. If your goal is convenience, the Mercure is a winner. It’s a short drive to the airport with the added bonus of a free shuttle service, which makes it ideal for catching an early flight or for a brief stopover. However, the surrounding area isn’t much to write home about – it’s not a tourist destination, and the area lacks much in terms of dining or entertainment options. DINE + DRINK: Didnt have a chance to try their F & B - so cannot comment. ROOM: We stayed in Standard room , so this review is based on that; SIZE: Barely Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; VIEW: Random view of the city scape ; AIR-CON: Decent Air conditioner that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM:Tiny sized bathroom with a Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: basic quality toiletries FACILITIES: Didnt have a chance to check out their facilities SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of our needs, but have a long way to go when it comes to providing warm hospitality HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Small Smart TV dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment - primarily in Spanish
