The Grand Mercure is wonderful! The rooms are modern and very comfortable and staff is very friendly and helpful. We’ve been here 3 times and every day started with a cheering warm greeting from the staff. Most of them even remember us from previous years. Nadia, in Capim Dourado restaurant, even greeted us with hugs. Her service is very considerate and warm. She brought us dishes on the table right after the previous dish finished and having the second dish when it was hot to make the food more enjoyable and delicious. We give her 5 stars service. Great location and excellent staff. My booking happened at the same time some sort of conference was happening in the city and there was a big group in the hotel, so things got busy - but they managed. The elevators were under renovation, and tho that's a circumstance, the wait was pretty annoying. But overall, an enjoyable stay.

I stayed at the Grand Mercure from Sunday till Friday for work. Staff are fantastic and speak a very good level of English. There was a queue at check-in that resulted in more staff serving customers. The gym is good but could do with an update and earlier opening. Sadly, one elevator was closed for maintenance and the remaining two elevators operated on two independent systems meaning it took often more than 15 minutes to get to my room or downstairs in absolutely packed elevators or using a non a/c fire staircase. This could have been easily avoided by accepting fewer bookings. A premium hotel works around the needs of its guests, not the other way round.

Great place to have dinner!

Food was gorgeous and the atmosphere was great. The only issue is the language, since the waitress only spoke Portuguese, but she made the job anyways. The meals were good in price and quantity, and the restaurant was just across the street from our hotel. I would definitely recommend this place for any visitor!

I was in Brasilia for business. This hotel was perfectly located but the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel for all business travelers. The front desk and porters really go out of their way to accommodate your needs.
