Hotel staff are great and rooms are ok apart from the bed which is not great …lost alot of sleep ..never have this issue in a travelodge, better beds and ditch the mattress topper. Cctv needs improving to cover all the car park and a automated barrier to improve security(van attempted theft on day 1). Breakfast is great apart from 1 two slice toaster between everyone(really) and its poor,….bread is stale due to being left open. Minor things.

Great rooms, nice size clean and tidy. Restaurant bit like faulty towers. Running round like headless chickens! All in all for the money you can’t knock it. I would stay again. Not my first choice though. Need to be a little more calm and it would be perfect for the money.

Checkin quick and easy. Placed the car registration into the screen located at reception to avoid a charge. Informed of the breakfast time and also I was asked if I would like to book a table for the evening meal as they will get busy. Informed that last orders for food would be 21:00, so I booked my table for 20:30. Room clean and spacious. Had a pre drink prior to my meal and when I asked at 20:35 if I could order food, I was told that they had too many orders and the kitchen was now closed for orders ( not busy at all). Thanks IBIS for my one and only stay. Hopefully breakfast will be available in the morning if not to busy.

Never been to a Ibis hotel befoer, but was very impressed by the standards of the room and food. I am in a wheelchair but the hotel didn't have any accessible rooms available. That didnt detract from the overall pleasant stay. The bed was big and comfy, and the room was spacious enough to accommodate my wheelchair. There is a large choice for breakfast, which was really nice. The restaurant is not open for dinner on weekends, which is a pity. Never mind. There are lots of eateries nearby. We would definitely stay at an Ibis hotel again.

I Expected Jeremy Beadle to Jump Out of a Closet.

This hotel stay felt a bit like it was a practical joke. The staff were very nice at check in, and throughout my stay. My room looked nice, and was clean, but once I settled in, the problems started to appear unfortunately. First of all, my room was sweltering. I wrestled with the air-con, checking online to see if I was operating it correctly, eventually having to go downstairs to ask for a fan. A staff member attempted to adjust my room from their controls. However nothing changed all night temperature wise. There are seemingly no fans in the hotel, which seems like an oversight. Knowing there was no way I'd sleep, I decided to try anyway and turned my light off to try at least. It was then that I noticed a green emergency light that is permanently on near the door, illuminating most of my room, like a child's night light. While tossing and turning all night due to the heat and light, I noticed I was laying on a thin mattress topper as opposed to a proper mattress. This explained the uncomfortable bed, just in case the tropical conditions weren't uncomfortable enough. I suppose if you like firm beds, this might not be an issue. However the pillows were great, or at least would have been, without the constant perspiration. While awake all night, I was able to fully appreciate the slamming doors and loudly talking guests, coming back from the 24 hour bar. At least someone was having a good time. So now, after a completely sleepless night, I can look forward to a long drive with my eyeballs on the dashboard of my car. Mercifully, I only booked one night, however if it was more,I would have definitely left today and found somewhere else, or failing that, just gone home and abandoned my trip.
