Our stay was extremely pleasant. We actually felt on top of the city... beautifully located, wonderful weather added feather on the hat. The rooms are quite cozy, the service and staff cooperation and courtesy was at its peak.. The hotel is full of indoor and recreational facilities and our kids loved it. We will definitely come back to Mercure Grand. GOD bless..

Check-in was a breeze. Helpful bellhop and courteous front desk personnel. Room shows age but still warm, comfortable and welcoming. Need to update water bottle allocation per room especially this hotel is situated at the top of Jebel Hafeet (additional 2 bottles perhaps to the current allocation per room would be a nice). Food selection needs to be improved. I love the breakfast spread. Just sufficient but the quality is superb! The breads are really good. Fast check out. Will definitely stay again for an overnight trip.

I do stay in hotels a lot as I travel for my work. The Hotel is in a great location the staff were friendly BUT there is room for improvement. As I was a former Hotelier who has worked in many hotels in the West I know the standard to expect. The room service department needs a lot of improvement. The property will sell for itself but with great customer service and more friendlier staff there is lot of room for improvement.

Ordered and paid for extra bed in advance. Called 3 times for front disk to get it inside the room but unfortunately all what i got is promises that “will be delivered soon” which never happened and my daughter had to sleep on the floor.

The place has all you need for relaxing weekend with family - pool featuring water slides, mini-golf, great children's play area, open air restaurants with breathtaking views. The breakfast is decent, service is top-notch and overall experience is joyful.

The check-in and check-out were smooth but since there are no benefits we can avail as Accor Diamond Member, seems useless to book from Accor Website/Mobile app at a higher price than booking.com Rooms were not maintained but we can ignore that, upon the friendly staff like Karen at the shop on the ground floor, or Krishna the sales representative.

Location and amenities are extremely good. Room cleanliness is also good. Reception and other staff members are also very supportive. Only one suggestion :- This was my 2nd visit to your hotel. Both the time what I observed is some problem in bathroom water supply(Yellow water initially and then clean) and minor clogging(water will remain in bath-tub and on the floor for long time).

Disappointing

Check in was the worst experience by far it made we want to go back home and cancel our stay but since we traveled up the mountain to get there and my daughter was so excited I decided to stay. The room I requested was not even noted and only to be told that it is easy to fix but why not do it right the first time so there is no need to complain. More complaints followed but the highlight of which is the fridge in the room isn’t working and with molds . They sent a replacement but I’m not sure if they are deliberately mocking because the replacement has more molds . I stopped complaining and just put up with everything from there. I have told friends and family about my experience so they can lower their standards when they need to stay there as there is no other hotel up on Jabel Hafeet. Maybe this is the reason service and everything else is so disappointing.

The Hotel Has visibly aged

The hotel seems antiquated. Staff is very polite but a simple sandwich room service order takes 45-50 minutes and a room service dinner order one hour. I was in room 206 and the bath drainage needs opening up. Pillows are not soft. I won't come back.
