It could have been a good stay for a quiet hotel. The only inconvenience was that, we ( my wife and i ) noticed upon reaching home in Abu Dhabi, that we were charges twice for our hotel booking. I did call the hotel and send an email at the same date of checking out. But sadly there was no action or was not acted upon til this review. This is the first time we encountered this problem since i have been patronizing Accor Hotels for quite sometime.

Perfect location! Restaurant is not that good for a 4 star restaurant and the rooms look old and low-cost. Most staff are accommodating and friendly.

We live in Abu Dhabi and decided to drive to see Jabel Hafeet. Because of the length of the drive we decided to stay overnight at this hotel. Although the hotel is older, it is well maintained. The bed was very comfortable the room was clean and the dinner was wonderful. We were all alone in the restaurant most likely because of Ramadan. The waiter was very friendly and the chef cooked a wonderful meal.

A place to enjoy,relax and reconnecting.. Away from busy days of the city.. With high appreciation to Akhl and Mahesh in the pool bar you guys are amazing lemon mint greatly refreshing, Chef Isru who made it possible that our request and demands with our breakfast meal will meet upon our happiness, Rakesh of Al Khaymah for being assistive and giving recommendations for the food menu item shrimp pasta Margherita pizza was awesome! Mr. Timothy on front desk, Mr Krishna and Mr. Vineesh for being accommodating,informative and assuring that every guest stay will be at their best self to enjoy,relax and comfortable..

There are many things that went wrong with our trip to the Mercure hotel, With Regards to the Room: 1) We received a TWIN bed instead of a double bed in a SUPERIOR room. There was nothing superior in it. (Very Uncomfortable) 2) On top of that, there were very loud sounds from the Air con in the middle of the night and it kept on continuing which did not let us sleep the whole night. (a video footage has been provided to Mr. Ibrahim at the front desk) 3) the Fridge was ancient, there was no mini bar facility and the fridge took hours to even cool the water we brought along. 4) There was stains on the chairs and the Duvet has been loosing its texture. (The Duvet has aged and needs to be replaced) With Regards to the Meals: 1) We were told that Iftar dinner was limited and Dinner Meal Package is unlimited and different from the Iftar package. But when we arrived for the dinner at 8:30pm, we got all the left overs of the Iftar which was COLD and scarcely available although the Dinner package was more expensive than the Iftar Package. (The staff did not communicate this information correctly and we ended up having the worst buffet dinner ever, although the cuisine looked appetizing) 2) The breakfast was good, although the Chef kept reducing the number of eggs when asked to prepare an omelet. When asked for 4 eggs, he gives 2 and the second time we asked him for 4 eggs he gave 3 eggs. (Why does he decide for himself when we inform him what we want) With regards to Amenities: 1) It was the first time ever we have experienced being charged for using the hotel amenities (Badminton) and it came in as an unpleasant surprise. 2) We had asked the security to inform the people who weren't wearing a mask at the lobby to wear a mask and follow COVID protocols but he failed to do so and ignored our request. 3) When requested for a bottle of water, the staff informed us that it would be charged. Never come across this type of service. At least not for a single bottle of water after receiving 2 small bottles. The good memories that we could take back with us were: 1) The view was breath taking and the pool was something we really enjoyed though with COVID restrictions, it was almost packed of people. 2) The staff in the restaurant (Akhil) was very pleasant, helpful and grieved with us over not being able to have a good dinner. 3) Mr. Ibrahim at the front desk was very understanding and helped us out with a fast check-out. Overall, we had booked the room for 2 days but had to cut shorten the trip because of what we had experienced in a single night. We hope that all rooms are not the same as what we had received could be mainly due to technical issues. We wish for the management to take this issue very seriously since Mr. Ibrahim has also informed us while check-out that the team will get back to us and solve this issue that we faced. It feels like we paid for a day of relaxation but ended up getting us "Lack of Sleep", Lack of Satisfaction", "Left Hungry at night", etc I would request for the General Manager to view the video that we shared with Mr. Ibrahim before getting in touch with us.

Room was nice and hotel is great. However we are very disappointed in service. Starting from very beginning, we were waiting for 3 hrs to get baby cot and we mentioned in reservation that we need one. Delivered one was in terrible condition we could put our baby to sleep there. After that service next to the pool again disappointed, bad service no greeting. Waiting for menu for 20 minutes, beverages not chilled. After that we had dinner next to pool, but we didn't eat food. First of all staff was not wearing properly masks and not following covid precautions measures. Also food was not possible to eat, my sandwich was so hard. Only good service we have got from lifeguard next to pool and reception. Overall experience not satisfied

Very good amenities, spectacular location and views, but unfortunately the rooms and the building interiors are old and very badly maintained.

It was a very good week end for me as the hotel rooms are very clean as well as the entire hotel area. The break fast well organized and it was a very good idea that every thing was served instead of going to the buffet

It was a very pleasant stay at your hotel, however, the surroundings of the hotel premises are not clean as many areas are littered with rubbish, especially in the area of service entrance and on the road to the hotel left and right behind the road walls.

Hi, we had 6 rooms and though the facility , location is good its very important that you should also offer good food , the Idlis were like stone so hard , sambar was like normal dal, very poor choices in menu, when we asked for an omlet green chillies were not available or may be the cook did not wanted to take pain of taking it our from store. Also the beds were very poor quality when we slept the bed was not at all firm and whole night we did not get sleep. This was our 3rd time to this place and don't think will visit.

I have taken 6 rooms for my family and other 2 family for this weekend gettogether, however below 2 points need your attention and improvements; - BF control measures looks like food control, not a pandemic measure. - we got early call for vacating rooms, however rooms were allotted us on the previous day from 4 - 7 pm (since it was not available and guests were asked to share in the allotted room until such time).

Nice swimming pool and children play ground , my children enjoyed a lot, morning breakfast, staff are very friendly to assist guest for food and drinks, the only things I think to improve is, I have requested birthday cake for my son, when we arrived, we didn’t received , during the stay, I called the reception to confirm, they said they will send right away, still didn’t received after one hour, when I tried to call again, the line is not working anymore, so I decided to go down by myself to check in reception, the answer is I will call again to confirm, then no follow up, this is very disappointing point during our stay, I think this should be improved in the future for four star hotel, the rest is just what we expected, wonderful place to relax.

We got an experience lower than expected. Most of staffs are friendly but some are rude or outright harsh (no manners in speaking to guests). Reception guaranteed that in breakfast buffet, no guest will allowed to touch food directly only through hotel staff it will be supplied. That is not the case we observed many guests touching food directly. Because of this we had to stop eating and leaved from there. This is a highly irresponsible action from your side, especially with COVID9 current situation. Only because of this I am giving you 4 points or else you are 6 out of 10 (due staff behavior).

Disappointing

Check in was the worst experience by far it made we want to go back home and cancel our stay but since we traveled up the mountain to get there and my daughter was so excited I decided to stay. The room I requested was not even noted and only to be told that it is easy to fix but why not do it right the first time so there is no need to complain. More complaints followed but the highlight of which is the fridge in the room isn’t working and with molds . They sent a replacement but I’m not sure if they are deliberately mocking because the replacement has more molds . I stopped complaining and just put up with everything from there. I have told friends and family about my experience so they can lower their standards when they need to stay there as there is no other hotel up on Jabel Hafeet. Maybe this is the reason service and everything else is so disappointing.

The hotel seems antiquated. Staff is very polite but a simple sandwich room service order takes 45-50 minutes and a room service dinner order one hour. I was in room 206 and the bath drainage needs opening up. Pillows are not soft. I won't come back.
