2 night stay. Room was ideal for my stay. It is a budget hotel therefore I didn't expect frills and gadgets. The room was compact with a small modular shower which was excellent. A tiny separate toilet en suite. Small gandwash basin outside shower cubicle. Great lighting featuring mood and round the room lights. TV that I found difficult to access. Free wifi, bedding and towels clean and fresh. Air conditioning. Continental breakfast available.....plentiful. Free parking in the multi story car park adjacent to the hotel with direct lift to hotel reception on floor 6. Easy, friendly check-in and out. Negative reviews almost made me not book here. I will be back to Ibis Budget at The Quay Glasgow. I had my car with me but multiple buses are just outside if needed for Glasgow or Paisley shopping. Good soundproofing. Hard stool not comfortable at all and 1 only in a double room?

Do not stay here!

My daughter booked this as my xmas gift. We checked in after walking around a dodgy area, we had to walk through a dirty, dark carpark to get to it. The reception is on the 6th floor so you have to wait for the lift in a scary entrance. The room was tiny, the shower was next to the bed with an almost seethrough door. There was no storage and the toilet was in what appeared to be an old cupboard. We checked out straight away and lost the money. Do not stay here!!!

Fine hotel but terrible smelling hallways.

Staff are friendly enough we're happy to help us swap room as there was an issue with the TV. Rooms are tiny but ours was clean and the bed was fine but the pillows might as well not be there they are that flat. The breakfast is lacking it's just a continental with a tiny selection if it's included whatever but don't pay £8 for it there are food options everywhere. The biggest issue is the hallways leading to the rooms absolutely stink of sick or something along those lines its ridiculously potent the even sprayed air fresheners in there and the smell was overpowering those thankfully you can't smell it in the room but it's still disgusting to walk through again and again to the rooms.

The room is a bit run-down, which is expected for this price. The hotel i very well located and is a pleasant 15 min walk to the city centre. The staff are nice and friendly. The 24/7 reception bar doesn't hurt. The breakfast is extra ($8.50) and definitely worth it. Would stay again.
