Stayed there two times in Sept 2021. Despite Covid measures in France, reception was very friendly and helpful. Room is simple (you know this when you book at Ibis Budget) and very clean. Breakfast is not the most exclusive, but again you know that beforehand. It is however great value for money to my opinion, as is the room rate. Very convenient option when travelling, as usually the parking lot is also secured at night.

This Hotel is a very fine find. Clean, Tidy, & Accommodating. First class Breakfast and no need to rush as large area is given over for a leisurely breakfast before continuing your journey .Great Chinese rest. for evening meal not more than 5 min walk from the Hotel, ALL YOU CAN EAT FOR EURO 17 Drinks not included.Will use this Hotel again on our trips to Switzerland.

Basic hotel in basic price

For the low price you can get a really descent accommodation, everything was according their standards but for me lack of traditional bathroom is inconvenient. The breakfast is typical french breakfast no continental breakfast at all. The hotel location is very convenient close to the express way.

Permanent smell of cigarette smoke

I had no choice but to book this hotel after my husband had a bad fall skiing at a nearby ski resort and was rushed into surgery at the Remiremont Hospital, which was a 10 minute walk away. It's basic. No wardrobe or chest of drawers. Shower and toilet are pods. Hand basin in the corner of the bedroom. Opposite corner to the toilet. Pillows are flat as pancakes. Bed is semi comfie. My problem was that I requested a non smoking room. Yet the toilet stank of smoke. The bedroom, not so much but if you open the window you get the smell from the smokers outside. Nothing can be done about that unfortunately. Breakfast was nice. Not much of a selection but decent enough for 6.50 Euros per person.

I stayed here on my way to Italy and it was a good choice. I find Ibis Budget hotels great for this sort of purpose. The rooms aren't large but are clean and equipped with basic requirements (except a hairdryer). This particular one has vending machines for snacks and cold drinks but there is a breakfast area and the breakfast was pretty good. I chose Remiremont as it looked like being located within walking distance of an area where I could find somewhere to eat. I was right and reached the town centre on foot in about 10minutes.
